“We are so fortunate to have found the Kids n' Things Preschool in Simi Valley. From our first phone call with Carol, we knew this was the place for Kai. Carol invited us for a visit/tour to meet the 3's teachers, Miss Elaine and Miss Tammy. We saw where he would play, and learned about their curriculum. Clearly these kiddos learn through play. We could not be more grateful for the patience, the love and the respect they have shown Kai while he learns to be away from Mommy for the first time. They work with him, they sit with him, the talk with him, and they reassure him that his family will pick him up everyday. They are centrally located in the center of Simi Valley, open at 6 am and close at 7 pm to accommodate working families. They are flexible with the days that Kai needs to come which is extraordinarily helpful for Kai's mom, as she works in healthcare and her schedule is always fluid. We are also very pleased with the level of security that is provided. We love the communication between the teachers and mom. The teachers have been so wonderful since day one, even sending pictures of Kai throughout his day, knowing that it would give mom some relief seeing that he is doing okay.It is always hard to leave your little for the first time. We know that Kai is safe, making friends, learning to eat new foods, learning about numbers and letters and that the care he is receiving is everything we could have possibly hoped for. Thank Miss Elaine and Miss Tammy from the bottom of our hearts for all you do for Kai. We are beyond grateful for your loving care. Kai is thriving and becoming more independent because of you both.”

“My son just started at Grace Preschool a few days ago. Today when I picked him up he asked why I picked him up early and said he wanted to stay later because he was having so much fun. That says it all, learning while also having fun in a loving and nurturing environment. I have been extremely impressed with all of the teachers and staff members I have come into contact with”

Me.Amatto is one of the most challenging teachers I have met and has a clear understanding of what is coming and NOT stuck on yesteryear curriculum. Crocks are out to bite into our future.”

“It's been years since my boys went here, but I went online and saw that Mrs. Gordon, and Mrs. C are still there, so i had to leave a review. This is a fantastic pre-school! The staff are all so kind and caring and are always doing fun activities with the kids! My boys would bring art and other creative things home all of the time, and they were always so happy when I picked them up! It's scary sending your little one to school for the first time, but you can feel comfortable and confident knowing that they will be in very good hands at Crossroads!”

“I chose Little Explorers Preschool for my daughter after touring several schools in Simi Valley, including SVM. Little Explorers stood out to me for their emphasis on safety and cleanliness, as well as the structured and organized environment. The teachers were also observed deep cleaning the classrooms when I came to tour, it really stood out to me! The school also provides quarterly updates, which is a great feature. My daughter loves it and came home from her first day talking about her teachers and singing songs. The atmosphere is warm and comforting, and the enrollment process was smooth and easy, thanks to the director. Overall, I am very happy with my choice of Little Explorers Preschool for my daughter. Will keep updating this review as time passes!”

“Spent 5 years between two kids in Little Scholars Montessori and so thankful for all the teachers there. Ms. Debra, Ms.Francis, Ms.Michelle and many more are very attentive , kind with hearts full of love to all the kids. Both of my kids learned a lot there and I feel like we were the part of their big family. Ms. Michelle is always open to discussion and very accommodative. The school is very clean and well kept, with some areas recently remodeled. We had an amazing experience for our kids and also as parents.”

“Our family absolutely loves Phoenix Ranch. We recently moved out of the area and are looking for a new school and nothing compares. The facilities (beautiful shaded playground, fun classrooms and swimming pool!), welcoming and caring staff and teachers, and enrichment programs (Spanish, physical education, music) were all such a blessing.My daughter started when she was 3.5 with Mrs. Silva and Ms. Riley. My daughter typically has a hard time with new environments but got comfortable with the school right away - she only cried at her first drop off and never again. She ended the year with so many friends and great relationship with her teachers - especially Ms. Riley. She also learned all her letters and numbers.This year, she has been in the pre-K program with Ms. Adele and Mrs. Zangri. It has been a great year so far with learning math, science and sparkle words!My son started in the infant room a year ago with Ms. Alexa and Mrs. Taiko. In the fall, he moved to the toddler room with Mrs. Claudia, Mrs. Ana and Ms. Krysten. All the teachers are so loving and I can tell how my son has bonded with them. I especially loved all the work the teachers put into the open house and other family activities like the Halloween parade, grandparents day, and holiday performance. They create a great sense of community by involving the parents in so much of what goes on at the school.I would highly highly recommend this daycare/pre-school to any family that is close enough. We commuted from Chatsworth and it was totally worth it!”

“We sent our two kids (4 and 2 yr old's) to this center. It has been great experience. The management is excellent especially Heather is very patient and understanding. The teachers are mostly good. It is very spacious compared to any other pre school I have seen.They understand kids with different backgrounds and adjust accordingly.With 2 years of experience with this center, I only have positive things to say.May God Bless everyone who work here.”

“My 4 year old daughter loves going to school (for once!) The staff is so nice and they really do a lot for the kiddos! I especially love how they are so clean by sanitizing the toys, promoting to wash hands to the kids, etc. They have a lot of toys and equipment outside to keep the kids entertained when they are playing on their own.”

“Both my sons attended here, and the teachers and office staff are amazing! They genuinely care about each child, and both my kids came home with fun stories about their day. Their incorporation of bible songs and stories was important to me, and these women were so graceful and patient as the kids learned through play and simple instructions. For the crunchy moms, they have Montessori toys, and plenty of books to nurture an environment of love and learning. They are also very understanding and helpful if your kiddo is being potty-trained. Tuition is only a little more if they're still in diapers, which is normal across all preschools. The playground is awesome, so the kids have a blast out there. The principal and everyone here is always so welcome and supportive. I cannot say enough good things about these people and the church next door! I'd recommend this preschool to any parent.”
