“KinderCare in Thousand Oaks is an awesome place for infants. I enrolled my daughter there in March of 2026 and Ms. Alyssa and Ms. Ashley were wonderful, knowledgeable, loving and helpful. Being first time parents, we checked all options around Thousand Oaks and did not find anything that even came close to what KinderCare offers. They keep you updated all day long with pictures and notes making sure we are in the loop. The infants are always doing enriching activities to keep their minds and bodies busy. They truly feel like family, even after a few short months. Lisa and Nikki are so kind and truly care about each of the kids. My daughter will be home for the summer due to my work schedule, but we will be back in August! Thank you KinderCare TO for taking great care of our little girl!”

“I have 9 years of learning experience at this school, and am finally graduating. This is a really good school, and an amazing staff. However, the students later realize that the way they do things is not like high school, making them feel like they are not ready. The school theatre program is really fun to do, although there is some talk about the main character being chosen through favoritism. There has been some drama at this school, but otherwise it is a great place to go.”

“This school is everything I could have ever imagined for my daughter. We started with the Toddler Tuesday classes for almost a year and got familiar with the school and other families.

Our daughter has now been enrolled for about 6 months and it's the best decision we made for her. We started half days and she loved it so much we bumped her to full days and she never wants to leave. Our daughter made some amazing friends and overall seems so much more confident.

The director Jennifer and the office staff is amazing. There door is always open to stop by for anything which as a parent, we means a lot.

We visited a bunch of schools in the area before we saw Segray and a few things that stood out to us was:
- small classroom ratios
- no plastic furniture or bright colors, everything is wooden and very calming
- health conscious snacks/ no added sugar
- 50% outdoor time
- app to get daily updates & photos
- parent volunteer opportunities
- family events to connect with other parents

This school is truly a hidden gem! If you're even considering it, you should check it out. And to the Segray team, I am so grateful for making my daughter's preschool experience a memorable one. 🤍”

“My daughter attended here years ago and my son is currently enrolled here. We love Hummingbird as the teachers have embraced our kids as their own. My son loves coming here everyday to learn and play with his friends.
He always has a story to tell about his day or songs to sing from circle time. He has learned letter/number recognition, colors, tracing, and can write his name. He’s learning colors in Spanish and recites them often. Fun art projects are always coming home.
