This place is amazing, I mean just look at all these games I found here over the past few years. Sublime. And that's not even all of them. Huge selection of PS2 and PS3 games especially, and a solid PS1 section with some absolute gems.

I've attempted to check this place out twice now. Closed both times despite hours on google and yelp showing open. First time showed up to a sign saying they were closed for the rest of the week. Ok maybe there was an emergency of some sort the owner had to close for or life came up. I get it. Two weeks later I drive down and this time no sign on the door and still closed. Is this place temporarily closed/permanently closed??? I hear great things about it but have yet to find out for myself. It would be considerate if you would update hours or at least your phone system to reflect that you are not in fact open. I'll update this review upon whenever I can check the place out.

Thanks for the joys sticks for my xbox controller. They were all worn out, now it's as good as new! And they had great customer service and were very knowledgeable when it came to extra parts for controllers.

The best local game store I’ve been to in a long time! Wonderful staff (huge shoutouts to my man Jacob) and a very solid selection of games and consoles at pretty fair prices. Would 100% recommend to both hardcore and newer collectors!

Love these guys. Being that it's a retro game store, and retro is super popular again, selection of popular games can be hit or miss, but the people who work here are ace.

Think twice or three times before going here to trade in your video games people IT HIGHWAY ROBBERY & they know it is the sad part!! Its a real bummer cause it seems like a really cool place!!!

The Game Exchange is my favorite vintage video game stores in California let alone Ventura County and it's nice to have one so close to home The owner has gone above and beyond to have a wonderful collection of video games both modern and vintage And all are at incredibly reasonable prices

Game exchange is the only place to get vintage and new video games and consoles. Knowledgeable staff and they can even repair old consoles. Love this place.

The store was really cool and has a tooooon of stuff that you cant really find anywhere else. We got a nintendo 64 for a great price and it's modded so you can have japanese imported games work on it as well as american games. You can't find a deal better anywhere else for this. The only reason I give it four stars instead of five is because the staff seemed a little nervous talking to customers (not approaching us automatically or asking questions) and not confident with their register system. HOWEVER, once you got them started on talking about games or a system, you can see these guys are passionate.

Employees/owners are very nice, one literally gave us the screen protector off of his own phone when he saw my friend's broken screen. They'll turn on the air hockey table or arcade games for anyone who comes in. They host tournaments for various games and they carry games for a huge variety of consoles. Fun place just to browse in.
