Spent a good hour shopping this morning. I loaded a cart with about 14 2x4's that I picked out from the stack of studs they had. Loaded a couple sheets of plywood, and threw a couple boxes of screws in for my weekend project. Moved the cart out of the way of an employee who was restocking wood, and I headed over a couple of isles to grab a saw blade and liquid nails (last items on my list). Came back to where I left the cart, and it was gone. Looked up the isle, and there it was. Plywood and screws still on it but 2x4's gone... tossed back where they came from. Saw the employee who was stacking wood and asked if he unloaded my cart. "Aww, yeah, sorry boss," and he kept walking. No, "Oh, sorry, let me finish this other thing and I'll help you load them back on your cart." Nothing! I've had loaded carts like this before and never had this problem. I would drag the cart with me, but the isles are too narrow and packed with people, and there's too much merchandise down the register isles. So I usually leave it, grab my other items and grab the cart before check out. I don't go to this Home Depot often, but I've kind of had enough of this place.

My husband was in Home Depot before 11 this morning. When he went to check out the lady told him the line was behind him so he stood behind the gentleman waiting. After she finished with him and my husband went to the register she closed it and started counting her drawer. She pointed to the next line which had over a dozen people. She could of done that before she made him wait!! He left a large basket of wood and other supplies and told her she could put it away. What has happened to your customer service??? You used to be better than Oxnard, no more.

Very shady sales tactic. Absolutely do not recommend their kitchen cabinet sales & installation. Please don't get manipulated by their sales representative. You are much better off using a real professional cabinet maker and save yourself the misery of making a bad decision.

Went in today to get some paint samples made and the paint counter employees were great. Got in and out pretty quick and the prices were fair. Overall a good Home Depot. i have been a customer for years and never had a bad experience.

I bought a $10,000 indoor counter top 2 years ago and a $10,000 outdoor counter top 1 year ago. Both had installation issues and neither have been fixed. The indoor kitchen counter top had one section where they did a completely different edging then the rest of the counter tops. It has been inspected over 5 times by over 10 people. Each time we contact the office they would say someone else needs to do the inspection and send out someone new. The inspectors always confirmed the edging had to be redone. And they took tons of photos and videos and even facetimed some office manager during it. We got lots of promises they were going to fix it. But still nothing has been done. The outdoor bbq they installed an INDOOR granite that immediately started to turn yellow and brown. They admitted they provided and installed the incorrect type of granite and agreed to replace. But days before the demo and reinstall was to start they told me I had to remove all appliances, plumbing, electrical and the sink embedded in the granite myself or hire someone else to do it before they would do anything. So they cancelled. Since then I got a bid from a contractor to remove everything for HD at a cost of $2,500. And I would need a new sink since the existing sink will be destroyed during demo. A new sink is over $550. So HD expects me to spend over $3000 to help them fix their error. And no one at home depot will return my emails or calls. In person they tell me they can't talk about it or help me because it is a corporate issue above them. So now I have to file two claims with the Contractor State License Board. Seems silly that is what they want me to do.

Came in the first time to get a screen door and I asked for help , then the employee barely helped me. I got the wrong screen door, I asked for twine to tie down my screen door, they didn't have any. Then I asked for help to tie it down and they didn't help. The employees were BS'ing didn't help. Went there a second time, it was better they actually helped me and were very polite. So it was going to be a 2 star I give it a 3. A lot of workers , that don't help.

Do not get their appliance warranty. Company is called Asurion Our Whirlpool refrigerator bought at Home Depot after 4 years died. We are at 5 service calls and 2 months so far. They send a tech after tech milking the insurance. Each tech blames each other. Also ordering parts that the next tech says not needed. At escalation level now. If they give me money back we are still in the hole since now have to spend more money. Each tech leaves us no paperwork. Very bad experience. So watch out.

I have been shopping Home Depot for 22 years and I have never experienced the blatant disrespect of an employee as I was at self check out who told me to make sure I scan all the items. When I asked him what's that supposed to mean and why would he say such a dumbass comment he replied with "Because I'm a dumbass and I say dumbass things". I couldn't believe why what was unfolding at 8 am on a Saturday morning. The employee wouldn't stop and I asked him to get the hell away from me and to go get his manager. As he turned he continued to make disrespectful comments to me and I became enraged at the blatant and utter disrespect he displayed towards me and when the manager came another employee (being nosy) attempted to "act tough" but I clearly saw by the way the situation was handled it was based on race and prejudice as the employee had no reason at all to approach me in the manner he did or the ridicule and insults that came out his mouth were not addressed or handled. I will never ever spend another dollar at Home Depot and I will be emailing and contacting corporate every week until I see to it this employee is removed from a customer service position because he is clearly untrained, unqualified, rude, blatantly disrespectful and has no regard for the position he serves!!!! Whites always stick together no matter if they are caught with the smoking gun as we see that's the case here. Hang on to the surveillance video Home Depot cause that's where you'll see your employee approach me upon checkout and hover over me and begin to disrespect me for absolutely no reason at all other than he's not mentally equipped for this position. I will be contacting an attorney and filing a formal complaint against the employee, the store manager Tammy and 1 other employee. This store sucks btw, always out of stock although on the website they say they have it, nobody ever helps you they just stand around in a circle talking to each other, items are never in stock and the employees here are in desperate need of training and customer service training. I wouldn't even leave 1 star but I can't leave this review without a minimum of 1. Im very disappointed and I will not let this blow over.

Very unhappy with them recently. Their garden staff is so incredibly rude! I called a couple weeks ago asking if they had venus fly traps in stock and the guy actually yelled at me that I should know they have been sold out for 2 weeks now! I was kind of in shock at his reaction (maybe it was his 50th time answering that question that day?) So I just said oh ok thank you.. and he gives no response, just hangs up on me, not helpful at all about maybe finding one at another home depot or asking if I had any other questions.. just hangs up. Then I go there in person a few days later and as I'm about to enter the garden area from the outside, they close and lock the doors in my face.. it was at 4:38 in the afternoon.. so it wasn't like they were closing for the night on the hour mark.. I was literally about 5 feet from the door and someone ahead of me had just walked in that way. Just so incredibly rude.

I was looking for hobby/craft aluminum wire. I asked 4 different people and no one could help me find it. They kept pointing me towards the electrical wire. One told me to look up the aisle and bay number on the website and it was not even wear the website said it would be. I would have thought that simple aluminum wire would be easy to find at Home Depot, but I guess not.

I was there to buy a motor for a garage door, they really need to clean that store. The store front is dirty, the people that works there are miserable working there. Horrible customer service, I do not recommend this place. Go to Lowes! Nice clean stores and awesome customer service!
