By far the worst usps location. Never coming back to this location. Dropped off packages at the drop off location but workers won’t scan them in cuz they are lazy and don’t want to do there job

Used postage machine to purchase 100 stamps. A message on the screen said something about unavailability of small mailing labels. Since that didn’t apply to my order, I pressed continue. Instead of the sheets of stamps which are usually dispensed, the machine started putting out individual stamps. I asked the lone male counter attendant for help. He rudely said the machine only produces what you order, wouldn’t allow me to explain further. Since his name tag was not totally visible, I was only able to see that it started with an O. He needs some drills about polite customer service.

Recently, we had cash stolen from a card mailed through the Simi post office on Galena. When I went to report the theft, the post office manager refused to take my claim, stating the “machine” must have “accidentally” opened the card and the cash “fell out”. What a load of B.S.! I believe she knows exactly how & who took the money. I’m guessing she is covering for this employee and didn’t want another claim against her office. Super suspicious that she refused to even investigate the incident or take some sort of report. Her weird explanation was even more suspicious. I will not be using this office again.

Why in the hell would the post office block the letter drop off boxes at night. Not everyone works bankers hours to drop off a stamped letter between 9-5

Always super long line at this location. Out of 4 stations usually only one is open (ONE employee) Amazing! Today the same thing, one employee and ar least 25 people waiting….Thanks USPS

I’ve never really had a positive experience here, but my most recent one was an exercise in frustration and anger. I had a small item that I sold online, and in order not to get shorted on the sale, I looked up the shipping rates ahead of time on the USPS website. However, when I went to mail it, the clerk told me that the cost would be double what I saw online. I tried to explain the price I found online, and she quickly adopted a rude and arrogant tone. After a few minutes of back and forth, I gave up and paid the excessive shipping fee, shook my head, and walked out.
I’m done with the US Postal Service. UPS and FedEx may be more expensive, but at least they stick to their advertised rates and their people have a more pleasant demeanor.

I mean it's a post office..
However, if Yevette isn't working the day you come in to post or drop something off, expect to wait in line for maybe 5(+) minutes since it seems like everyone likes to make a 1 minute problem into a 5-10 minute chat. Have to praise Yevette, since she's just a no-nonsense kind of gal and keeps the line moving 10/10.

The lines are usually short but can be busy in the evenings. Usually, the last hour, they are open, but the line moves quickly. All the employees here are extremely helpful and always friendly. You can always buy postage and mail all letters, including priority mail, and you can even mail most medium-sized boxes and packages 24 hours and 7 days a week.

You have someone working there that is opening credit cards. It happens every time we are expecting a card. The envelope is completely slashed and all night I was receiving emails that someone is trying to activate my card. Happens all too often
