Fairly decent sales! I discourage buying the bagged avocados for ? $5.99. Four out of the seven small avocados were spoiled. Other than that, our shopping was good.

What happened? this has to be the most expensive place for almost everything. I only go there for wine and a couple of other items. Weird, they have good prices for wines.

I've been going to the "Big Vons" since I was a teenager. I've always liked this store. The store is easy to maneuver through and the employees are always nice and helpful. The location is excellent too, right off of the freeway. I remember when Gemco was there. ツ I definitely prefer Vons! ٭٭٭٭٭

Always an awesome store! Always clean with helpful and friendly staff. They were the only place in Simi that I was able to successfully get 6-layer bean dip on Superbowl Sunday! Thank you Vons!!!

(UPDATE 2) We're now down to one star. This week, we went to pick up one item, and the POS terminals were not working. Shoppers didn't find out until they reached the checkout line. Fortunately, we had cash. Most others were not so lucky.(UPDATE) I’m downgrading my review of this Vons store to two stars due to their deplorable handling of our online shopping experience.The short of it is that during Christmas 2019, I used Vons’ online ordering service. What a disaster! After placing the order online, I went to pick it all up, yet only received two-thirds of my order. I was told (by the manager) that they were out-of-stock on the missing items, and that I wasn’t charged for these things. However, I WAS charged, and upon returning to the store in frustration, found that the items WERE NOT out-of-stock, but had been missed when retrieved for pick-up. Again, by the manager.I’m not saying I won’t go back, as this location is convenient. I do, however, have serious concerns about the management at this Vons. I certainly won’t be ordering online again. (/UPDATE)A grocery store near us. They almost always have items in stock, and we've never had a problem with finding expired items. One minor complaint: almost always, many if not most of the twist tie dispensers in the produce department are empty. I fix this by taking a bunch as soon as I get to that area, but I'm sure this practice only contributes to the problem. Other details include: Parking is good; handicapped accessible; and they take phone payments like Samsung Pay and Apple Pay

Von's sucked. The Lucerne cottage cheese I wanted to by left on thr shelve was expired 1-3-24. This was still on the shelve. No frozen foods I needed. I will be switching to Ralph's

Laureano was such a kind and amazing person. If you need help, he is the most happy and helpful person ever. I was a little confused at first, but he was helped me get the right produce I needed. I will come again because of his service to me. BEST butcher. He made my day!

The associates in this store are incredibly unhelpful and rude, especially Julie. I asked for help after accidentally scanning the same item 2x on the self checkout and when she came up to me she was very unprofessional and rude. I felt belittled as she murmured “retard” under her breath. I will not be returning and I hope that she faces some sort of discipline

Not only did I face various inconveniences related to Customer Service when entering the store, but when seeking assistance from Julie, her demeanor was shockingly disrespectful and unhelpful. It is disheartening to encounter such behavior, especially from a managerial position.. Unfortunately, my encounter with Julie has tarnished my perception of Vons. I hope that you take this feedback seriously and address the issues at hand to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

There's a problem with Vons advertising that isn't on the same page with prices on things on sale. It's a different price after its scanned and its been happening a lot. So if you don't check your receipts you get charged full price. Recently got different drinks from different areas of the store, that were marked down and there was a 24 item limit, but wasn't aware that it applied to all drinks ,so that's false advertising. I will be buying in small batches for now on. Vons is slow and need to double their staff and hire more cashiers.
