Had to drive to this location a few times to pick up medication for my grandparents, not only did I dive there two separate times to get medication which was confirmed to be there any wasn't at all, but the employees have no sense of urgency or efficiency. I used to work at walgreens and our store was nothing like this. Whoever the manager is here should be disappointed in the lack of effort these employees show.

Pharmacists unfortunately too busy giving vaccines and filling prescriptions to accomplish anything in a timely fashion. The stores are closing down each year. Like the older chain stores in the 70's such as Dart Drug, Drug Fair and Peoples Drug. This corporation will sell out or simply phase out. Takes forever to fill a prescription.

This review is for the Photo department. I just wanted to apologize to Amber for giving her an attitude for a poster board that I got printed here. I misunderstood her explanation and was frustrated. She showed exemplary customer service and still held her professionalism with me. She was able to resolve my issue with the posters and made it her goal to have me leave in a better mood. That you Amber for being patient with me when I didn't deserve it. Amber is the primitive example of going above and beyond. Thank you again for taking the time with me.

This was my first year ordering holiday photo cards with Walgreens and will likely be my last.While I love the sale price and the ability to order for pickup at my local Walgreens, when I picked up, the sales associate was not friendly. Which was fine. It didn't bother me too much. But then when I got home and started assembling my cards, I realized I was missing almost 50 envelopes. I went back to the store to let them know and to pick up my envelopes and they said they've been running low because those are a popular size and haven't been including them with the cards! I asked why I wasn't notified of that when I picked up my order. They told me it's important to check your order before you leave. I didn't understand why they wouldn't tell me this if they did it knowingly. I ordered 160 cards. I didn't have time to check 160 envelopes when I picked up my order. And if they knowingly are not including envelopes that are equal to the number of cards ordered, why aren't they notifying customers of that?I told them that I paid already. And I paid for envelopes AND cards so I didn't understand why I wasn't given what I paid for. They said here's all we have and gave me about eight envelopes. I am extremely disappointed as I have made a purchase and did not receive everything that I purchased.

I've always experienced good customer service here. I've ordered a couple of things from the photo department and have been impressed with the efficiency and quality. The pharmacy takes a long time but they are understaffed and are doing the best they can with the resources they have. I imagine service can be delayed because they have to attend to the drive thru customers in addition to the walk ins.

Just when I thought CVS pharmacy had the worst customer service and wait times! Walgreens pharmacy takes the cake on a new low. Both walk-in and drive through attempts for a prescription pick-up were a disaster. Good luck at getting a representative to even acknowledge your existence. Would NEVER recommend.

Worst pharmacist ever! Tuan or whatever his name is is not only rude but very abrasive. He should have his license revoked. He refused to fill my prescription 2 months in a row even with doctors authorization and under State guidelines. Fine. I dont care about that..I can transfer it to another pharmacy. What I don't appreciate is him screaming at me in whatever language he speaks which is definitely not English. There is something very wrong with him. I filed a complaint with Corporate Walgeens but of course they will do nothing about him. Go elsewhere. Anywhere but this pharmacy because of him.

Experiences have been up and down but as of late good. We were pleasantly surprised how friendly the pharmacy has become. We had 8 prescriptions that our insurance didn't cover and Tricia helped us get them covered for significant less cost through Good RX and the savings plan. Busy pharmacy, those that had issues should give them another chance. The workers and Pharmacist are bodies in motion, very busy place and even with a sudden influx of customers they handle prescriptions in a timely manner.

Pharmacists pretending to be physicians. They abruptly refused to fill my perscription, that I've filled there for years, for reasons that are not within their qualifications.Pharmacists have way too much leeway. I could understand if they see a possible drug interaction; but other than that it's based on their unqualified feelings.If you wanted to be a physician, you should've gone to medical school to get an MD.The job of a pharmacist is to fill perscriptions, not play doctor.

This place is terrible. I have a perscription that has been filled here for the past few years. I regularly consult with my doctor to keep the perscription updated as required. Today I called to see when my refill will be ready, and I spoke to a man who asked me out of the blue if I consulted a psychiatrist recently. I told him that I get my perscription from my primary physician. I was then told that he could not fill it due to some policy that was never made clear to me, and that I could either see a psychiatrist or go to a different pharmacy. I told him that my perscription is due and that it would be inconvenient to go through the process of establishing a new psychiatrist right now. My perscription has been filled there for a few years now, no one from the pharmacy told me that I needed to see a psychiatrist. I had to wait until my perscription was due to be told, and it was just filled last month! It was difficult to understand the man I was speaking to as he had a thick accent, I had to ask him to repeat himself multiple times. He told me the policy was "pretty new" and that was that. A perscription I had filled there for years was suddenly dropped without any warning from someone I've never met, and who has no idea about my health. I hope my doctor can send it to a new pharmacy; this happened on a Friday afternoon around the time my doctor's office closed. With pharmacists and employees like this, I can totally see why Walgreens fell for the Theranos scam. Total incompetence all around at Walgreens, especially at the Simi Valley location. I hope someone there reads this, but they don't seem to care about their low rating. I don't see any company responses here. Do NOT use this pharmacy! One star is too generous for them. EDIT: I was browsing through some other reviews, and others have mentioned the "new policy" excuse. They have been using the same nonsense for quite a few years apparently. If they say your perscription can't be filled due to a "new policy;" they're lying to you.

I waited two weeks for my prescription because staff that have not properly been trained. Representatives are rude. They violate HIPPA on every level. Mind blowing!?

I made Walgreen my new pharmacy thinking it was a good choice to leave CVS. Actually I spend more time on hold when I call Walgreens and then they'll answer for one second and say Walgreens and then put you back on hold. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't have that much time to stay on hold to a little pharmacy they can't be that busy and they don't have any care about the people that are on the phone. I'm going to switch pharmacies again.
