If you're going to Dixieline for quality and customer support, DON'T. You will get neither. We spent over $12,000 on windows and doors there and had nothing but trouble. Jeld-Wen doors warped. TM Cobb door warped. Wood clad windows warped. Screens stretched. Screens not delivered. Inadequate service men that could not define the problems even after several onsite visits. Absolute worst customer service I've ever had from start to finish. We thought we'd pay more to get better. What happened is we paid more and got screwed. Go to Pine Tree lumber for fast, efficient service and customer service that ACTUALLY believes The Customer is always Right. Sorry Dixieline. I gave you every chance and you failed me every single chance you got.

If are ordering windows, doors or sliding doors, Dixieline will file a right to place a lien on your property despite having paid in full. They state this is a "best practice" which is only in their favor. I've ordered from other companies that do not do so. Combine this right to place a lien if there are any issues with their unwillingness to deliver to customer expectations. While I was sold on Western sliders being on a quality equivalent of Fleetwood, my sliding doors came engineered to cover the fasteners. On black frames, I was provided with silver fasteners. Dixieline and Western's solution was to get a permanent sharpie to color fasteners. Unreal spending over $10k only to be told to get a black pen and deal with an unfinished look despite the product being engineered to have covers. I ended up ordering Fleetwood covers that fit into the frames. I would never order from them again outside of a basic lumber run. Western windows, western doors, western sliding doors

Tad and Tobias were sooo helpful in repairing a Christmas reindeer I love. I had tried but no success and took it to the Solana Beach store and they fixed it for me. Will go there from now on. Home Depot gave me a glue but didn't work!

After 25 years of shopping at this store, it is time to make a high recommendation for Bruce Stewart a store specialist. Bruce has been my go to guy providing virtual concierge shopping service and knowledge of how to use everything it the store. I'm bummed when Bruce has a day off, as nobody else seems to have his diverse knowledge and advice. We are contractors and use their sister company in South Dakota for hundreds of thousands of lumber and supplies across the board. Management should give Bruce a gift card for dinner out with a big acknowledgement. Thank you Bruce!

I was lucky that Chris came by the paint center to help there. He immediately responded to my need for a color match and got me the right thing. Helpful, polite, and on the ball!

I replaced my windows 2 years ago.Due to the pandemic supply chain mess, the windows took 10 weeks anstead of 6.There was nothing I could do but wait. When the doors finally arrived my installer informed me that the screen door was missing a roller. There was no telling g how long it would.take to get another replacement, so I kept the defective door.My installer called the milguard rep, but nothing ever came of it. When I called the dixieline salesman (joe) he also never returned my call.Since my tenants never complained, I never pursued the issue.I recently got a new tenant and he asked me to fix the screen door, so I visited the store in person to find out how to replace the missing roller.Rather than trying to solve my problem, I received a lecture from Bruce on how I should have called earlier, etc. In short, they refused to lift a finger to help me.I don't have time to call the manager to get the milguard sales rep, and wait for them to figure out how to replace a $5 roller.I have been using dixieline for about 25 years and spent about $250k on remodeling.and repairs. For now on I will drive over to home depot.UPDATE:I brought my screen door into the store and spoke with Tobias. He actually knew what he was doing. He found a nylon replacement roller ($5.99) and explained how to install it. He also contacted milguard to get the proper steel replacement roller which the store does not stock.I have changed my rating from 1 to 2 stars.5 stars for Tobias. In response to my first post, dixieline generated a pathetic boiler-plate 'geewiz, we are sorry for our lousy service...' with no effort fix the problem.

I was really not impressed the way that they handled the 5,000$ order I placed. From communication to the delivery they did everything wrong. I am a contractor and they forced my customer to go in to pay. They charged me for lumber for the delivery and they didn't use it. They gave me no notice of the order being delivered in a timely manner. They give you 25-30 mins to get to the drop off location upon receiving some text message. I really really do not like how they do business at all.

This is a new store chain for me. None in Orange County so I don't usually have the option of using them. The store reminds me of ganahl lumber the way lumber purchases are handled. I found the store to be large and well stocked. My first visit was to buy a single 2x4. It wasn't a great experience but I was able to get what I needed. None of the lumber racks had prices. The kid in the lumber yard was pretty clueless. I said I needed a cheap 2x4 and he had take a photo of the label on the rack. When a cashier was finally able to help me he entered the label info and said $35.50!

For me, people make all the difference in who to trust to fix a problem. At Dixieline in Solona Beach, everyone is helpful but Alex Pithoud goes above and beyond. I've worked with him to plan replacement of whole house windows and doors. His patience to provide design, select best products and arrange installation is full service with a smile. As an interim step, he's expedited selection of product that is needed now. I appreciate his professionalism. Thank you!

Dont buy windows for your home or business here if you want customer support. We ordered windows for whole house almost 2 years ago. Windows were installed last year, installers were nice but left unflushed human waste in ALL my toliets(how hard to flush, come on guys) and broke one toliet without saying anything. They forgot one window and two screens which i still dont have installed after almost 2 years! They installed a garden window which leakes alot when it rains. I told them last winter and and they still havent fixed. In June a employee named Craig came to house and said he was going to see why window leaking. He has not come back and does not return my calls. These last rains caused a flood in my kitchen via Garden Window. Also when they installed Garden Window they took apart my house gutter and never put it back together. See pic below. When my neighbors tell me my gutter is an eyesore i tell them dont buy windows at Dixieline.

Nice clean store. Maybe people with no customer service skills shouldn’t work the counter (Bill) or perhaps the greetings and salutations are saved for people with fairer skin…

I am a caregiver for a almost 90 year old woman with dementia. We walk into this store looking for something specific and she wants to go and ask someone for help. when she goes up to a larger woman who works at this store and asks for the location of an item she gets completely ignored. This lady doesn't even look up at her and rudely tells her the general area of the item. THEN we go to get in line and the same large lady (isn't even dressed in a uniform so I'm led to believe she is a manager) rudely tells my 90 YEAR OLD client to get in a main line with everyone else. My client apologized and we go to the main line. (With protest from other customers who would have just let her go ahead) because we only had one thing and again she is a 90 y/o woman. After that we both hear this lady loudly proclaiming that we weren't being fair to the other customers. This young woman needs to understand the meaning of customer service and that one single bad experience to someone like my client is extremely embarrassing.

Convenient little store, friendly staff limited selection but I can usually find something that will work. Pricey compared to a Lowe's or home Depot but it saves me a drive. They have garden supplies, paint and mixing counter, hardware, tools, lumber, plumbing ,electrical, keys ,hardware /misc. They close too early though.

We dropped in here to buy some shovels for the beach, so the kids could play in the sand. They had great prices. They have excellent customer service. They had some really good sales on patio furniture, so we bought a collapsible table to take to the beach to put our drinks and phones on.
