When I moved in, the toilet was clogged. Water would flush down, but anything else, including the smallest amount of toilet paper would not. I requested maintenance multiple times and each time they would come, tell me that the toilet flushed fine, and that "the toilets are not intended to have anything flushed down them. Dispose of your toilet tissue in a bag". Management refused to acknowledge that something was blocking the toilet. I brought in a professional with a snake who was unable to pass the snake through the pipe. So now I'm paying 2300/mo and I have to put dirty toilet paper in a container. I got so sick of the situation and dealing with the management that I ended up installing a brand new toilet. Management refused to reimburse me for the new toilet, and told me I would have to reinstall the old one when I left. They also got after me for leaving the old one on my balcony and refused to help dispose of it, even after I offered them the new one. However, as moving with a toilet is very inconvenient, I ended up leaving them the brand new FUNCTIONAL toilet just so they would stop harassing me. On top of that, I left the place immaculate, and got charged an extra $500 on top of my original security deposit. Upon inspection of the charges, they turned out to be completely absurd. I was charged for carpet replacement (even though the carpet was in brand new condition) and THEN I got charged for carpet cleaning and enzyme treatment. When I asked for an explanation, they ceased communicating with me and have apparently dropped the issue. So, just be aware what you are getting into if you want to live here. Yes, the location is wonderful, everything else not so much.

I lived here for the past 2.5 years. Overall I enjoyed my time.Pros:- Juanita has been really great and easy to work with- work orders were taken care of without excessive waits- location is incredible. Being able to walk to shows at the belly up was awesomeCons:- prices are high for the quality/sizes of the rooms-room finishing had issues (counters with rough wood edges, old appliances, overall just kind of felt shambled together)-rooms do get hot. Plan on using a portable AC as long as its allowed. This was great for the period of my life I was here: graduated college and moved to a new city where I didn't know anyoneMy reasons for moving were cost, square footage, and the appliances/general poor quality of the interior of the room.

Great property and location in Solana Beach. Solid size units. Juanita the property manager is awesome. Where my disdain comes from is the fact i lived in my studio for 3 months and received a dismal return of my security deposit. Had to break lease early due to COVID.. They have the the gall to charge me $400 to paint nearly spotless walls? Wow, Elan. Thank you for letting me get absolutely blasted by whatever crook paint vendor you deemed worthy for the job.

Absolutely nothing special about these apartments. Well that's not true, they are special in regards to how terrible everything operates. Toilet rocks, hot and cold water reversed, faucets loose. Months for anything to get fixed and then went into the apartment without any notification. Very hot with a super loud train. We tolerated all that because of the location and primarily because the manager Sandy was so nice. But she found a new job and the blonde woman they replaced her was a complete nightmare. TOTAL NIGHTMARE of a lady. ugh
