The pastries on display are exquisite. I tried the dolce de leche which was a pyramid of chocolate cake bottom with layers of cream, and caramel cream. This was decadent and I loved that it, and several other desserts were gluten free. The crepes and Croque Madame that other dinners were having also looked great.

C’est parfait. I used to just come for the fresh croissants, baguettes, and hot cocoa. But now that I’ve tried the soup … ? I will be trying the entire menu. Ils sont magnifiques.

This little French eatery. Review looked great so we tried. Gentleman with a heavy French accent was very aggressive and nowhere near friendly when ordering. Food portion is smaller or you can call it European style. No checking on us while dining and grumpy French guy was on the phone ether wise.

It was okay. No indoor seating. I ordered granola and it was literally just plain flakes of stale granola with a cut up strawberry and milk. Not a raisin, nut, seed, or any flavor to be found. They served the stuff you use as a base to make actual edible granola.

We were walking down the street, saw the cafe, and the doors were open so we walked over. One of the workers said "We're closed" and we said oh we don't want to order anything just wanted to peek at the menu, and he said that was fine. We walked in and the owner said we need to leave, and we had said his employee said it was ok to walk in. The owner proceeded to point to his Hugo Boss shirt to explain that he was the boss, and that we needed to leave. Needless to say, didn't get to look at the menu and definitely won't be going back to be around that horrible man. Piece of advice - if you don't want people to come into your store, don't have your doors wide open. Easy solution.

Great, I like to order things I can't make at home. They didn't disappoint. I had the veg quiche and my partner had a crepe. They were both perfectly prepared and the croissant was tender and flaky.

A cute cafe on Cedros Avenue. It was raining that morning. I met my friend and they moved a table inside for us. The owners are French and very welcoming. The chocolate croissant was flaky and small, just like in France, but tasty. The chocolate tasted the same as in Paris. The cappuccino was well balanced with a good froth.Kid-friendliness: No kid that morning, but dog friendly on the patio.Wheelchair accessibility: On the street level. Most tables are outside.

Ordered a latte. It was so hot that it burned my tongue. Had a big glob of foam (?) on top but was not much of a latte. Next day, tongue still painful. The pastry was OK.

I ordered the croque madame (croque monsieur with the sunny-side up egg). The cheese and ham tasted really good. The side salad was also great. I actually quite like the sauce. It tasted like vinaigrette but not too strong. Overall, really good experience. I also ordered cappuccino. It was a little bit too watery. The taste was okay. I really love the outside patio where you can enjoy the sun bath while read books. However, it can get really hot with no shade. Parking is quite easy if you are willing to walk. I went there noonish on Saturday. I parked two blocks away. I do see people leaving quite often. So if you are lucky, you might find a spot right next to the restaurant.

This place is a great way to taste French breakfast foods without leaving southern CA. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. The food was delicious and I can't wait to visit again.

Small french cafe with flavorful sweet and savory foods, pastries, and little tarts. Pretty expensive though not unexpected as this is Solana Beach area, but everything tastes delicious. Decoration is pretty minimal, which is fine as we dined outdoors and cared more about food than anything. They serve toasts, sandwiches, crepes (savory or sweet), baked goods, coffees and teas. We tried two savory crepes (3 cheeses and one ham and cheese) and one sweet (strawberry jam + fresh strawberry-cost extra). They were all yummy and we finished the plates. Thes espresso tart is delectable too, although I wasn't too keen on how the dulce de leche tart tasted.Outside dining is provided with small tables with chairs, with some covered by umbrellas. There is barstool seating on the inside of the cafe on the opposite side of the baked goods display.Bathroom is a communal bathroom shared by other stores and a key needs to be requested from the cafe attendant.I'd go back for the taste but would definitely be intimidated by the price.
