I had a respiratory infection that kept hanging on so I went tothis Minute Clinic. I was able to schedule an appointment online easily and was seen soon after I arrived. Jennifer was the NP working that day and she was really great. I got a script and when I didn’t improve I called the Minute Clinic and left a message with Customer Service. Jennifer called me back and sent in another script. It really couldn’t have gone smoother. I would definitely use this facility again.

I Arrived early as I was the first appointment of the morning. NP arrived at 9:05 and my appt was at 9:10. She took my paperwork for my daughters physical, went into her room. We waited until 9:20 until I finally said, as we are ready to be seen? She opened the door rudely and said I’m sorry I’m the only one here and they book the appts too close. I was the first appt and no one else was there! She started with my daughters eye test. Her vision is not very good so she was struggling. She then stopped the exam and told me to be quiet and I need to stop talking to my daughter. I wasn’t even talking to her. This then made my daughter nervous and uncomfortable to proceed with the eye test. She missed a few letters so we stopped the test. The NP explained that she can’t pass my daughters physical because she was unable to read one line. Ultimately, she was very rude from the minute she walked in, which then intimidated my daughter and enabled her to complete the test. The NP was unprofessional and needs to go back and learn “bedside manners”.

I got there checked in & was called in to see dr. In under 5 min & both women working there were very nice & great at their jobs! It was a pleasure (esp when not feeling well) to have such a positive experience in a timely manner. Additionally, the medication was ready at the pharmacy within 30 min. Thank you Minute Clinic!!

Nurse Katlyn (maybe it was Katheryn) was completely useless! I went in to remove one suture from a blepharoplasty that is placed 6 days ago (within the healing periods of 3-7 days) She acknowledged it was not infected, and agreed it could be the location or maybe a little too tight causing stinging. She was hesitant to remove first because it didn't say anywhere in guideline it could be removed even if it's on the website! Removing sutures is one of their services! She called to get approval. After that she seemed scared to clean or touch anything, then she just said she didn't feel comfortable removing one stitch! It was literally just cutting a tiny knot! If I could see I would do it myself! It is within the healing period! It was not going to unravel the wound or open anything! She didn't even have to pull anything, literally just cut the knot at the end! This lady should not be in the medical industry ! She is too scared to do anything! She is paralyzed by fear and hinders her ability to make decisions and act! Completely USELESS!She mentioned previously working in a surgical room, this is probably exactly why she is no longer there and working at a CVS Minute Clinic! Well, newsflash- She can't even do simple things either! Only reason I came here was because I couldn't find an open Urgent Care. Guess I will use valuable resources at an ER because of this useless nurse !

HORRIBLE. Wish I could choose no stars. I was five minutes late for my appointment. Checking in at the kiosk, there is lots of information to fill out and as I was rushing through the info knowing I was late, I ran into a glitch where for whatever reason, the screen wouldn't switch to the next screen. I kept pushing the arrow and nothing, so I exited out thinking the system needed to reset. When I went back in, after spending ten minutes on the previous check in due to the glitch, it said my confirmation code had expired. This was extremely frustrating but I thought if I would wait and talk to a human versus getting upset with a computer, the human would be kind and understanding of my situation. WRONG. The human was even worse. Upon explaining my situation and what happened, the nurse, a blonde woman with glasses, showed no care, ABSOLUTELY NONE. Rather, she took a condescending and defensive tone with me, calling me out for being late, saying I walked up 11 minutes past my appointment time and the cut-off was 10 minutes. I reasoned with her about the system glitch, but she said I was a liar, and that I missed it by 1 minute. Nothing she could do. She showed no empathy, no concern and was extremely rude and inhuman about my situation. I will never step foot in not just that minute clinic, but that CVS store location again.

Had a head cold and wanted to get tested for Covid prior to returning to work. Made an appointment with CVS online for today at 8:30 AM. Received text and email reminders of appointment and a code to check in. When I arrive there is a large sign at front door saying " No covid testing inside, follow signs to rear of store". I walked around store and saw signs indicating it was a drive through test site. Went back to get my car and drove around and parked where indicated. A Women came out and asked to check my confirmation code. She checked and said I was supposed to be inside store at minute clinic. Went in to clinic and nurse or technician came out to ask if I was here for covid test. I said yes and she said we're all out and have been for two weeks. I asked why the system had allowed me to make appointment and why it was confirmed twice by text and once by email in 24 hours? She told me she tried to call me this morning but it went to voice mail. I have no missed call and no voice mail. I asked about the sign saying NO Covid tests in store and she said I know it's d**** Nurse asked why I wanted test and after explaining she said the one I want is the antibody test outside. I asked How do I make an appointment fir outside? Her reply was to go online to CVS web site. That's how I made this one and was not given options. I like CVS and minute clinic but there handling of covid tests are terrible. Suggest you go elsewhere if that's what you need.

The man that I spoke to, John could not understand me & I could not understand what he was saying. I requested somebody else to ask my questions to and he left me on hold for over an hour. He came back on the phone and said email minute clinic.I will never use their service due to the poor customer service over the phone! He left me in silence and did not respond to my questions. I would not recommend using this service.Dr. Michelle Foster

Worst place for billing, spent close to an hour on the phone today with 800 number and they said they fixed the insurance billing and go in for an appointment and turned away saying I owe money... Definitely won't return anymore!

I’m a doctor visiting from out of state. My pregnant wife began having symptoms of a uti and we completed an over-the-counter uti test that showed leukocytes in her urine confirming the need for antibiotics. We thought this would be the best, quickest place to get things done. We arrived right at opening, she spent 1.5 hours there until she was finally seen only to have the NP tell her she had to go to the ER because she “wasn’t having pain with urination so it wasn’t a uti” (despite the other positive symptoms and the pyuria). My wife tried explaining that she is a nurse and that her husband was a doctor and that she had just had an appointment a few days ago with her OB who did an ultrasound and that everything was normal and fine and that she just needed an antibiotic however the NP wouldn’t even run her urine or do any tests and sent her away. I’m incredibly disappointed and upset that things could have easily been taken care of here before she developed pyelonephritis on our vacation.

HORRIBLE. I had a 3 pm appointment and check-in was fine. However when I met with the overweight blonde "doctor/nurse?" she was incredibly rude and unhelpful. CVS didn't accept my insurance, so I said "no problem, I will gladly pay out of pocket." She refused this and said she couldn't help me and hinted I obviously couldn't afford to pay out of pocket because I currently have Molina healthcare (to cover me this month before I start my new job). First of all, I'm a part of Molina Marketplace and my insurance isn't cheap (not that I care, or that it matters!). I told her this and she legitimately said (in the most condescending way) "well it's not $1,200 a month is it?!" I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I felt bullied and felt that her accusing me of not being able to afford it is incredibly inappropriate and is something I've never dealt with before. I honestly just needed a simple strep test so I could be prescribed antibiotics and I told her that as well as the fact I was in a lot of pain. Despite this, she refused and told me I had to leave. I literally broke into tears in the office because I was so frustrated at this problem with such a simple solution. She didn't show the least bit of sympathy though and just stared at her computer. I would steer CLEAR of this location. UNLESS that lady is fired. On the plus side, the young Asian man, who helps out near the minute clinic was very nice and helpful. So maybe there is hope if they get rid of the horrible health practitioner I had the displeasure of meeting with.

This review is just for the COVID testing. The nurses were all very friendly and efficient. Got my results back within an hour. Highly recommend for a quick COVID test!

The CVS off of Loma Santa Fe in SB is terrible. They filled a prescription for my wife, it was different than her current prescription, they didn't explain the drug and then refused to take it back even though it was the wrong drug. Both of us having been prescribing physicians in our careers, we can recognize bad service and this pharmacy is not up to standard.
