“01/22/24 and 01/29/24. Unfortunately had two punctures within a week of each other, both times necessitating a new pair of tires as they were near end of life anyways.I was in and out in less than an hour each time, no appointment. The folks were fast an courteous, and I appreciate the large window looking into the service bay so you can see exactly what they are doing. Its just a little extra transparency that I like.Won't go to Costco anymore for tires. It takes far too long, and now I have coverage from DT for my full set.”

“Free Tire Repairs, with all the construction going on in Encinitas and "everywhere else", my husband and I have had 3-tires repaired in the last 4-months due to nails and screws being picked up when we drive!! “I've used University City Service Center many times for a few years but never wrote a review until today. I've always had good service from them. Last night, during the storm, I had a flat tire. I fixed it with "fix a flat" to get home. This morning (Aug 21) I called the Kia dealer who sold me the tires about a year ago. I asked if I could have the tire repaired and wait for it. They told be the earliest they could do it is August 30!! That's when I called UC Service Center. I was there for about 20 minutes and left with a repaired tire. Thank you University City Service Center.”

But this time my engine lost power and Ish found the problem in a sec (3 different 5 stars Mechanics couldn't find it) a lot of respect for that man. “Spoke with Lynn, very knowledgeable guy no pressure, I did research on tires I specifically wanted prior and he did not try to upsale me on another brand. The entire process went very smoothly and once my tires came in. I was in and out in under 1 hr. I did show up at opening and about 5th in line. Tires feel great and wheels were taken care of. I will definitely come back to this store soon for my other car. I've been using Discount Tire since 2009 and this was probably the most pleasant store experience I've ever had.”
