Well we brought it in multiple times for check engine light and asked for a once over as my wife though her brakes were going and they said no next time.Well when the the check engine light came on again we decided to take it to performance Auto. Our friends recommended shop. 1) the properly tested and found two smog related things we needed and said one forsure and other eventual(no upsell). We did not mention the brakes. But as a good inspection should they said they needed replacing.We picked up the car tonight and my wife says it drives better and 100% notices the brakes performance. To my pleasant surprise, I received a response from Vu P (the owner or manager) on a Sunday night when I least expected it. I submitted my VIN and described the issues with my 2017 Infiniti QX60, which included needing a new boot-ball joint for the front lower part, a transmission flush, and addressing the issue of the AC not cooling properly.When Monday rolled around, the only response I had received by 9 a.m. was from Mr. Auto SD. When working on my scion FRS, he always takes pictures/videos on what the problem is for my car (timing cover reseal and valve cover). I had some specific issues identified at another mechanic and dealership, but their description and prices were suspect so I was looking for a second opinion.I came to MM Auto Techs with an appointment and was quickly processed. Alan came out to get specifics from me and then his team went to work. A reasonable amount of time later Alan came out to explain their findings, much more thoroughly than anyone had before. I'm not a car guy, but I try to have a general understanding of them and Alan explained the issues very clearly and in a simple enough format for me to understand. They finished up the repairs and asked me to stop by some weeks later for a quick free evaluation to double check some of the issues.Overall a great experience, the office and waiting area are very nice. “I just left the San Diego Trux lot with that feeling that only comes with Good Car Repair news. There was an issue for which the mechanics had to lift the car in hydraulics to look under and fix. Labor was involved. When done, the head of the shop said "Here's your estimate and bill - the car's ready." I looked and saw the repair charge was $0.00. No charge? But they actually spent a reasonable amount of time and trouble, and there is no way could I have done it myself. Incredibly generous - an old school car repair courtesy shown to a public school teacher. He shook my hand and wished me a pleasant day.”

“Elite Service is the best place for Toyota and Lexus Service. It takes so much stress off of me that these guys take care of our company and my personal vehicles. We drive a ton of miles being that we our mobile for our business. Our vehicles have to run and Elite makes sure the cars are running better than they were new. They are honest and the prices are very competitive. I do no have to worry when they are checking every inch of the car. They are very knowledgeable and they have master technicians. Their location is very convenient and there is plenty of parking. “Well, honestly, I went to them by mistake, and boy am I happy! They are the nicest people, have incredible integrity, don't try and upsell, don't over bill, and treat me very very right. I bought a car without a lot of knowledge of it, and they worked on it because, lo and behold, it needed help. I brought it to others a few time bc I had to and they charged a fortune and the work had to be redone. Brads is always reasonable. My car worked every time, and I never had to bring it back for the same issue, except once. Even then, they actually covered the cost of labor because they initially did didn't solve the problem. I eventually sold the car but I always go to them first if I have an issue. Luckily I haven't had that problem. I cannot recommend them highly enough.”

“My 12 year old Toyota Sequoia started blowing hot air. I had it tested locally in Del Mar and they said their was a leak in the front core evaporator and evidence of a possible leak in the rear one. They said they didn’t want to fix it Because it was too big of a job. I called toyota service and they wanted 3 k ish to replace it.I called a few shops and harris said they would test it first and if it was the Evap would beat the price substantially.I left my car there and they sniffed it and said there not only was no leak/ but whoever tested it bled all the coolant out. They could have easily just replaced it and no one would have known the difference. There are still honest and ethical people on this planet and now they have a life long customer. Won’t be asking about the price in the future with them. WORTH EVERY PENNY.”

Family Auto on Miramar Road took my car in the middle of the day & got the job done! To top it off, the mechanic recommended a cabin filter change which made sense.
