“What a fun find in Solana Beach! Double Take is a charming boutique with a great selection of designer and contemporary brands like Johnny Was, Solid & Striped, and other beautiful resort and summer pieces.
They were having 20% off, which made the deals even better. I scored a gorgeous Johnny Was top for just $40—it still had the original $250 retail tag attached! Definitely one of my best resale finds.
I honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews about the owner. I found her to be incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful without being pushy. She made shopping there a pleasure.
The store is also very organized and easy to browse. There were quite a few small sizes, but with a little patience I was still able to find some great medium and large pieces.
If you enjoy quality brands at amazing prices and don’t mind treasure hunting a bit, Double Take is absolutely worth a stop. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Solana Beach.”
