We stayed at the inn at the pinnacles this weekend and it was fantastic! Jan and John were the most delightful hosts. As soon as we arrived, we were invited to a wine tasting event at the pool. We met other friendly folks staying here as well. It was like staying with family. The setting was beautiful, upon the hilltop amongst rolling vines. It was so quiet and serene. The Wi-Fi wasn't great, but it's probably for the better... Take a break away from technology!I think we brought too much food though since the room came with a large basket of goodies for breakfast. It also came with a grill which we didn't use. Pretty fully stocked for preparing a meal, which is good because the nearest restaurant is 20 mile away. The jetted hot tub is also good. And the stargazing!!!Rooms: Good size. Fully equipped. Patio. We were in Manzanita room. Every room is uniqueNearby activities: Hiking at pinnacles! Get a pass good for 7 days.Noteworthy details: Wine tasting sat. Breakfast included

If one is looking for comfortable accommodations in proximity of the west entrance to Pinnacles Park then this is the place. Jan and Jon are gracious hosts and make the stay very pleasant, especially with the afternoon social with wine and various snacks. Here, the visitors gather and give tales of their experiences at the park. Some rooms have Jacuzzi jet baths which really help one to unwind after a long day on the trail. The star gazing at night is also a plus. All in all a great place to stay.

Our hosts Jan and Jon were very welcoming, accommodating and helpful, and ensured our group had a lovely stay at their inn. Our group was a mix of adults and children and we all enjoyed the property, pool, views, and hospitality. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the continental breakfast was great. We would highly recommend it to couples and families alike, and hope to be back again soon. Thanks, Jan & Jon for a wonderful stay!

This is a staggeringly beautiful location, high in the hills with views across the Salinas Valley to the San Lucia coastal range. We had blue skies for 3 days. And 80F temperatures in mid November. Absence of wifi in the Manzanita room (too far from the main house) meant I had to read the superb information on the vineyards and a fascinating book on the condor history. TMI. Jon and Janet provided an outdoor wine tasting of the wines produced from their grapes. The condors are easy to see at the highest trails of the Pinnacles. This Inn was a terrific base to hike the park. 10 minutes away. Comfortable bed, wonderful deck to watch sunset, moonrise and have breakfast. The querk was a shower system rigged up above the spa tub. I worked it out by the second day The kitchenette and deck grill were adequate to assemble our two dinners. Continental breakfast and coffee machine are provided. Really great stay on the much quieter west side on the park. A worthy 5 stars.

Wow. The Inn at the Pinnacles is the perfect place to stay near Pinnacles National Park. Gorgeous vineyard surroundings, charming and comfortable suites (with a private entrance and private balcony: great for social distancing), and well-stocked amenities. For dinner, you can bring food and grill (a fridge and private grill is provided) or go out to the restaurants in town which is what we did. We loved El Rinconcito - there's lots of delicious Mexican restaurants in the area. The owners Jan and Jon (the lovely owners who we got to meet while they hosted a wine tasting for guests) have done a fabulous job making the Inn at the Pinnacles the premier place to stay in the beautiful Pinnacles area. We appreciated the information we found in our suite about Pinnacles and the local wildlife, and we had absolutely everything we needed to make coffee and breakfast then head out hiking! Hiking at the Pinnacles was fantastic and we saw upwards of a dozen highly endangered California Condors and while at the park. We will recommend to Inn at the Pinnacles to all our local family and friends, and we're looking forward to returning with our families!

What a wonderful place! If you want a place to relax, enjoy wine and hike, this place is simply amazing. Jan and Jon are great hosts and they are happy to pour wine for a sunset tasting. The easy access to the Pinnacles Park is a plus. The price is worth it. Looking forward to our next stay.

A little paradise on earth... calm, relaxing, fantastic scenery, and very nice hosts. Breakfast is absolutely excellent (especially the french toasts). The local wine tasting in the evening with the hosts is also a must ! Totally worth the price (if you can afford it).

Our room was clean and bright with fantastic views, a comfortable bed, and a spacious hot tub. The inn is the perfect place to stay if you plan on hiking in the national park. It's only a five or so minute drive to the western entrance where you can take a short stroll to Balconies Cave and trail. Take the Junniper trail up the rock formations to High Pinnacles Trail, Condor Gulch, or Bear Gulch/Caves/reservoir. Initially I worried I would have to drive to the east entrance for thise latter attractions, but nope, you can do it all from the West and be soaking in your hot tub before sunset. One thing to note: when I tried to book online months ago there was no availability. I almost made the mistake of booking a grim hotel far away in King City or Salinas. Be sure to call to check availability.

Great place to relax and enjoy wine country as it was in the beginning. Owners have worked hard and commuted tons of miles to produce an Oasis in the hills. Check it out and enjoy meals, varietals and hospitality. I enjoyed shade parking and a full sun pool. The town has some great places for real Mexican food. Unique tasting rooms throughout the county area here, as well as the famous upgraded climbing USPark up the road from the Inn.

Even if you don't visit the park, this Inn is absolutely worth the trip. Jan and Jon Brosseau are fantastic hosts. The breakfast is great, and the 5pm wine tasting a highlight. Our kids (5 and 8) loved it, and could comfortably sleep in our room. The Pinnacles National Park is 10 minutes away, and the West entrance provides access to several great hikes.
