I visited here on a Sunday and it was a fantastic experience - we stumbled on it last minute and by chance, to our pleasant surprise, met Lisa, Mike, the owner, and his wife. Mike brought in grapes to pair with our tasting, and spent time connecting with us. A truly unique and special experience!

We enjoyed the relaxed, low-key tasting in Manzoni's small, rustic tasting room. Out of thr four wineries we stopped into over the weekend, Manzoni possibly had the best wines (not amazing, per se, but worth buying some bottles to waive the tasting fee. My favorite was the syrah, but we also liked the pinot and rose)

Today is my last day working for manzoni vineyards I'm moving to Texas. But before I left I wanted to review the customers who come to manzoni vineyards. The people who frequent this winery are simply the nicest most generous people I've ever met in my life. I have really really enjoyed my time doing wine tastings for Manzoni vineyards. It's been such a wonderful experience I've learned so much and I will always be grateful for the new friends that I met here. Have a rich and peaceful life Jim

Drove a long way to visit today, but the river road tasting room was closed. No information on the website or on Google suggesting it might be closed; in fact, it says “open”. No social media updates that I can find. Disappointing.

Nice folks + solid wine + no crowds = good tasting room experience. The wines were generally solid, though none stood out as particular "must haves." It seems like they were going for more delicate flavors in general, which may suit some people more than others. The estate-grown Pinot had an interesting spicy note and the Chardonnay was crisp and flavorful. The Cuvée Louie was a nice Bordeaux-style blend as well. We had the tasting room to ourselves and thus were able to learn a lot about the wines and the vineyard by chatting with the folks there. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Tasting was $20 a person, so prices seem to have gone up since previous Yelp reviews. Worth a stop though, especially if you're already driving down River Rd. between some of the other wineries.

A wonderful experience wine tasting at Manzoni Estate Vineyard. Mike Manzoni, the estate owner was friendly, personable and shared information on the history of his vineyard and wine making in the Santa Lucia Highlands. The tasting was delicious and we especially loved the Cuvee Louie (I believe named after Mike's Grandfather). Highly recommend stopping at this rustic Estate on the Wine Trail.

Great wines, wonderful staff, wonderful owners. The Pinot and Syrah are my favorites, but their Zin has certainly filled a few slots in the library, too!

$10.00 for 4 tasting, $2.50 additional tasting. Super nice guy. Cute little garage which they call a tasting room.

Love their PInot Gris for the summer warm weather months and their Pinots for the rest of the year.
