The Hamlet Inn is awesome! Location is perfect -- right by the downtown shops and restaurants. The check-in is contactless and easy, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Wonderful all around, especially for the price point.

One of the best places we have stayed at for the price. It’s a 2 star hotel but way better than 3 stars. We had a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The rooms are nice and cozy, The TV is a works and has a good selection of channels. The bed are nice, the bathroom is clean and has all the utilities you'll need, including a hairdryer. They also have soap and lotion on the sink. There is a microwave and a fridge/freezer with ice cubes too.

I would definitely stay here again. Friendly service, arrived early morning and was able to check in 2 hours before the specified time. Loved the room, simple and had the amenities needed to stay comfortably. Quiet and relaxing. Would stay another night, but all booked up. Sad to go, but will definitely come back. Right on the strip in Solvang and close to eateries. Definitely a stay.

I echo the positives that other reviewers have shared: affordable, clean room, pleasant staff, great location. I even liked the restroom with its large shower with good water pressure. However, the mattress, which is debatably the most important piece of a hotel room, was terrible. We were in room 4. The mattress was simultaneously too hard and sunken in. We are sorry to say we didn't sleep well both nights we stayed here because of that. I may stay here again, depending on the price.

This place is not a Hotel it is basically a Motel.
Good rooms and it was available much before the normal checking time.
Rooms were very basic and there was no heater in the room the temperature was very low room was really freezing.
The toilet exhaust fans was also making noise when ever we switched on.
Parking was very good .
The location was perfect.
Only missing part was not attendant at night. If you run out of coffee paper cups then you had it.

This place is lovely! We stayed for the weekend in the king size room and it was perfect. Not only is the location great but also the staff. Emma who was the receptionist was so kind and warm she made us feel right at home. If you’re heading to solvang definitely check out this Inn.

Location is great. We booked a family room But it smells like pet urine and we can’t find anyone to help us. I can’t believe the housekeepers didn’t tell the manager the room is unsellable due to strong odor. I text the manager but only got an “emergency only” number. My clothes smell like urine the next day and we hardly slept because of the “cham bio” substance in the room.

This is a real nice place and it's a great location. The reservations was delightful and checked us in early and are rooms were ready. At that point we were off. I will stay there again because it's worth it. The only issue I have is that our check out time was 11:00 and we went out to breakfast and came back at a quarter to 11:00 and they've already cleaned our rooms.

Cute little room in Solvang. The bed was also super comfortable. Cheaper than the other hotels, but still very good quality hotel.

What an amazing place to stay in Solvang!
Rooms are high tech and the place offers contactless check in. They send you the room number and code to check in on the day of and even text you if the room is available early!
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Location was beyond optimal — directly in front of Paula’s Pancake House and Olsen’s Danish Bakery.
Would stay again next time we’re in town

Staying just one night, on a Saturday. Quiet hours for the hotel are 11pm to 7am, which we thought was great. We traveled all day and want to get to sleep. Problem with being on the main strip is you are close to the bars which at the time of writing, 11:19pm, are still blasting music with heavy bass. The soundproofing is not very good to say the least. So if you want to be able to sleep in your hotel room, either stay farther away from the main strip, or hope your bedtime coincides with when the bars close if you stay here.
Otherwise, the room is minimalistic but cute and comfy. The shampoo, Conditioner, soap, and lotion were nice additions. Just keep in mind there is no body wash, there is hand soap in the shower. So bring your own body wash.
Left the customer service rating blank because we have had zero interaction with anyone. We got a text with the door code, so we went directly to our room. We haven't even seen any employees when walking by the lobby. Parking is sparse, so get there early. Seems like anyone can park in their lot, so spots are probably used by non-guests at night.
They have lights hanging over the bed, way too low. I've already hit my head on them once.
Bed is a little hard and creaky, but fine. Decent pillows. Overall decent, but not worth the $300 we spent for the one night stay.
Nearby activities: Bars, restaurants, museums, and shops all close by.
Walkability: Very close to everything. Felt safe.

Service deserves 10 stars! We left behind a sentimental item, and they worked with us on the return. We really enjoyed our room and the location. We will check this place first when visiting again.
Rooms: Live up to the Danish theme of Solvang
Nearby activities: Bakeries, restaurants, shopping
