I quit drinking other wines after finding these guys years ago. I could praise them all day about all their wine. The food I cook now is designed to go with the correct wine. Give them a try, I do not believe you will be disappointed.

Can't decide what was better, the wine or the people here. So I guess I'm going to have to keep going back to figure it out ????????Remember to ask for the "spiel"!?

Cantiga Wineworks was a surprise standout for me at this year's Passport Weekend and I am so glad my group was willing to stop here at my request as I had never been here before. The winery is a little off the beaten path in Somerset and at first glance looks like a converted church, but walk around the building to the main entrance and you're greeted with a lovely shaded picnic area with a flowing fountain and the vineyard so close you can smell it. This is definitely on my short list of future wine-filled picnic spots. When we arrived it was a little chaotic given that a tipsy party of 12 was just ahead of us, but the gracious hosts took their time to explain this winery's philosophy of avoiding malolactic fermentation for a much slower, natural wine-making process. This is particularly good for people who have allergies or a sensitivity to wine. If that is you or someone you know, bring them here for sure. Cantiga is also serious about their food pairing and actually offers a complete wine tasting with pairing for $15 on the regular. I was prepared to have zero options for food per usual, but was thrilled when they not only asked about allergies and dietary needs but also accommodated me with a completely vegan five wine tasting and pairing. We all thought that both the wine and the food was absolutely delicious and cannot wait to go back and try more. Cantiga Wineworks is truly a star of Somerset!

The building outside is a work of art, the wine was amazing and we got some of the best service there, we went on a few stops and this one was my favorite, they take time to talk to you and get to know you. On top of that they have the cutest and sweetest dog and cat to greet you and accompany you. Will be coming back very soon

Visited Cantiga in the summer and although it was a warm day, the patio was nice. They have a lot of outdoor seating and a beautiful water feature that added a calmness and gives the experience an Italy feel! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The owner spent significant time explaining their unique wine making process; which is considered "old world" wine making without all the preservatives. The wine was paired beautifully with small bites and scrumptious! If you visit, you MUST do the pairing!! Highly recommend!

The wine is excellent and cellars very well. Occasional library releases early 2000 vintages prove the point. Lovely setting for tasting and very knowledgeable, gracious staff. Food pairings with wine help with the tastings very gemutlichkeit!

Living in CA you have many options for good wine, but after awhile you learn where the BEST wine is. Always a pleasure visiting and we can’t wait to come back for the patio.

This place is phenomenal. Great wine and great prices. Plus you get little tapas with every wine pour. Had an amazing time here and the people were so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back!

What a Gem ! We love this place and been wine club members for years now. Rich and Christine are such nice folks and the wine is amazing. Rich is using old world style techniques to make outstanding vino. His red wine is the only one I can drink without getting a massive headache. Tastings include a bit of food pairings to bring out the flavors and enhance the experience. Cannot say enough good things about this winery. Just go there !

How amazing is this winery! Best wine ever! One of the most laid back wineries I've been to. Nothing in El Dorado, Fair Play or Amador compares to Cantiga!! You will not be disappointed!
