Can't beat the price for this room. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a restaurant on site. I stay here once a week for work.

My family and I stayed there on Friday and I’m so freaking embrassed we checked in and pretty much left to go visit with family well when we came back it was dark and late. Didn’t really pay any attention well we barely slept there my daughter woke up itching and complaining something had bite her and she couldn’t sleep. We got up and check out right away mind you we had payed for 3 nights and only stayed one night! The bathroom floor felt like we were going fall through it and stains on our bed ! My daughter has total of 11 bites on her legs now.

Decent room, location, and atmosphere. Price is fair, and it appears that the room I was in had been redone in the past few years. The bed was comfortable, bedding appeared and smelled alright... but the first morning I woke with some bites on my legs and feet.
Bed bugs? I poked around the sheets, mattress pad, bed skirt. Nothing there that immediately stood out to me.
I went to bed the next night after a quick inspection again and saw nothing of concern. However the next morning, more bites. Arm, stomach, legs again.
I stripped the bed down to the mattress encasement and still did not discover any bugs or eggs, sheds, anything. The encasement was torn in three spots, the bed skirt at the headboard though?
Black spots, but nothing more. Mold, stains, other? I don't know.
I half-stripped the unused bed, and found that it hadn't even been dressed up correctly. Fitted sheet looked used, bottom flat sheet not even pulled up and straightened. Was it overlooked by mistake?
I'm not here to say they have bed bugs, or to claim the cleaning is lacking. I DID NOT see ANY bugs.
But I do have bites by something. Fleas? A persistent spider? Maybe.

The Aladdin is a hotel with rooms mostly on the inside hallways. It is two-story. It does have a few rooms directly facing the parking lot outside. The breakfast was fair, a few selections of whole fruit, bagels, toast, and a selection of cereals and coffee and tea. The pool facilities looked clean although it was closed the first night we arrived. This hotel is not near downtown Sonora. It is approximately 3 mi away and you do need a car transportation to get to downtown Sonora. There are not a lot of facilities near this hotel, it does have a gas station with snacks right next door and one breakfast lunch restaurant that is not open for dinner. The restaurant was very good for breakfast. The Aladdin is a good value and the beds are very comfortable. It does come across overall as a Budget motel but was overall well maintained and clean. There were some stains on the carpeting and it could use some updates but it's a good value for the area. Rooms have a very small coffee machine with cheap coffee, a nice refrigerator with freezer that actually kept our ice packs frozen, and a microwave. Beds and pillows were super comfortable and we did not find the hotel noisy at all even though it was sold out on our weekend. It has laundry facilities and a lot of parking.

For the price that we paid, they didn't even clean the room. No beds made, no garbage cleaned, and no new towels. We had to tell them and only then did they give us towels

The room smelled horrible. There was a big black bug on my bed . We found someone's clipped toenail on the floor. The hot tub water was brown and unusable. I will never stay there again.

This place is the perfect staging location if you’re visiting the area for a wedding or hiking trip etc. The inn has the basics and clean comfy beds for what goes for a great price post-2020. The 2 nights I stayed over the weekend were unexpectedly peaceful for a holiday weekend. There’s a gas station, minimart, and breakfast/lunch café (highly recommended) all in this quiet little pull in from the main highway. The staff I interacted with, especially at the front desk, were genuine and overall positive but it’s apparent they are overly-exposed to the type of clientele that could be treated like royalty and still be displeased.

We stayed one night. We had a dog with us. They gave us a room upstairs. We unpacked and they called and said we needed to change rooms because of the dog. They knew we had a dog, even told us how cute it was. Charges us $28 more fore the dog.3 times we left the room and the key wouldn't work when we came back. No shampoo or body was in the dispensers. The other dispenser was installed upside down so when you pushed the pump it slid out and landed on my foot. Room was clean, breakfast was fine and the staff was friendly enough.

Rented a room 3/21/25- 3/22/25 and checked in. Keys would not work in the first or second room. Attendant said they would work on issue while we were at a wedding and have it completely fixed when we returned from the wedding. Explained to her we have no idea what time we would be in. She stated no problem. Returned at around 1:00 AM and asked if all the problems had been worked out. New attendant popped off to me and stated I have no idea what your talking about. I told her the story and she copped and attitude with me and just walked over to the key machine and made a new key not even verifying who we were. As I was walking away she made a smart ass comment. As before, the keys again would not work. as I turned around to walk to the front office, she was already behind me with the programmer in her hand. tried to reprogram keys again to no avail. She handed me another key that did work and I asked, is that a master key. No Response. We were tired and just went in to sleep. Sunday morning, we all woke up to shower and all three dispensers in the shower were inoperable.
Went to check out and told the attendant to have the general manager review the video footage and give me a call because i wanted to discuss the entire stay with that person. Well as usual we are two days later and no call from the General Manager.
DO NOT RENT A ROOM FROM THIS PLACE, YOU WILL BE SORRY...

We stayed for two nights rooms are clean and comfortable and pet friendly. However this place is very loud. The first night was ok the second a nightmare between kids running and yelling down the halls to people arguing in the halls slamming doors until 3 in the morning. No thanks.
