After banking with Umpqua for 20 years it is time to move. Customer service has gone downhill, and forget customer loyalty. After bringing in a check from our credit union to deposit as I have done too many times to count, I was informed that a hold would be put on it. A hold on a certified official cashier check. When I asked why, and questioned the length, I was. Informed that they could be faked. And that by asking questions about my money I was attacking her. EXCUSE ME? Did you just accuse me of bringing in a forged check? Who is attacking who? Once the manager came, she felt that I should be grateful and thankful that she was able to verify that it was a valid check. I didn't need you to verify anything. You should have looked at my history and nipped this nonsense in the bud. And thanked me for being a loyal customer. Should I mention that while they were deciding on wether my official check that I wanted to deposit was good, the teller next to me cashed a check for the customer that had 5$ in their account. CASHED!
