I had a transmission replaced by a shop when I was on a trip to Santa Barbra and had issues immediately after having the work done. I went to multiple shops to have it inspected but none could find the issue. I even called Jasper transmission where it was purchased just to get the run around for almost a year. The crew at Auto Tech opened the trans up and found chunks of metal and were able get jasper to send a replacement unit right away. They scheduled me in and gave me an incredibly reasonable price. Today my truck is back on the road and running smoother than ever. I would highly recommend you trusting them working on your vehicle. Excellent work, Friendly staff, Keeps you updated throughout the entire process, Affordable pricing, and no BS!!!! 11/10 experience.

If I could give 10 out of 5 stars, I would!My husband and I called Auto Tech (spoke to Hal) and were desperate for mechanical help. Our truck broke down while were 160 miles out of town in Sonora, while on our way to our first solo backpacking trip since our daughter was born (4 years prior). I had called several other mechanics in town and no one else would even give us the time of day; said they were booked out a couple weeks at least. When I called Auto Tech, Hal said they would fit us in. They worked on our truck all day and Vinnie, (our amazing mechanic) truly went above and beyond. When the auto parts store was going to close and had failed to deliver a crucial part for our truck, Vinnie personally drove there to get us the part. And then he stayed late to make sure the truck was fixed and safe for us to drive. Cost was also reasonable and quality and safety were their top priority. Both my husband and I truly can't thank them enough. They went above and beyond and their kindness made our weekend!It is businesses like Auto Tech, and the amazing people that work there that truly make this world a better place. Thank you again!

Had a few engine issues after we did a motor swap at home on my daughters Jeep JK. Brought it in to Auto Tech to get it all dialed and they had it running great, and handled in no time.

Went in to get gears done, parts got caught in a snow storm but hal wasted no time, after I informed them of a water pump and clutch in the truck they turned the down time into a new install, fast efficient and done right I couldn't have asked for a better experience..... If you or anyone you know has a jeep that needs work you can't or don't want to do I would recommend this shop with this crew..... Their knowledge experience and professionalism is unrivaled and they wheel too so it's not like 4wp where some 22yo with a Subaru is trying to get you to over pay on a rough country lift, they are the real deal and like the terminator I will be back!

My jeep needed a lot more engine work than anticipated. Hal and his guys made sure I was taken care of. They were thorough, reasonably priced and kept my jeep alive-especially after a headache of time and work. They had my jeep longer than expected but I was also squeezed in and my jeep turned into a big project. I also appreciated the full tank of gas to go home with- we all know how much that means! {lgb} Their expertise in jeeps is what lead me there- and I love to support small businesses. I walked away satisfied and recommend them- especially for jeeps.

These guys are great! I thought I blew my engine, pulled in and Hal had the air filter off, they hooked up a vacuum hose and adjusted my idle. Next thing I know its running better than before. When I asked how much, they told me not to worry about it!Of course they have all my business, but that not much. They've always helped me more than I could ever afford. I don't do reviews, but they deserve a sincere thank you!
