Cal.net recently installed an internet dish and router at my house. The technician, Cody, arrived on time and immediately explained every step of the process. He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my question. I'm very happy with the service I have received.

absolutely awful service. expect to be completely disconnected at least 2-3 times a day, if not more. upload speeds will randomly tank into the kilobytes, forcing you to reset the router to fix it. outages every other week. INSANE pricing compared to how slow their packages are.. wouldn't recommend them unless it's your only option.

Update 6/26/2022: Service has been out for three straight days now. Called inbthe second day with no resolution. Gjey blame me equipment when I've tested everything and confirmed it is working fine. (I have a background in networking and server management. ) Now they are jacking their prices up.Constant outages. 3 to 5 times a week the service experiences outages. Has become unreliable. Paying a premium ($100/month)They blame their constant outages on the power company but any telecom/isp worth their weight would have continuous power backup.I found another provider that can provide double the speed at the same ping times for a third less the cost.

This has been hands down best internet service ever. From the beginning sales representative Edgar Vigil made it really easy to set up he was super friendly he got back to me right away with any questions he let me know exactly what to expect there was no hidden fees or extra charges he even gave me an installation discount. The service itself was amazing I never had an issue with streaming at one point I had 7 devices streaming YouTube, Netflix and other video apps and we were all able to watch just fine without delay. I would recommend this service to anyone that can get it it won't let you down.

I live in a apartment with spiking electrical and when I had Comcast to help me either by phone or have a technician come out they would charge me $60 for either one.Comcast never replaced my box in the almost 5 years I had it and my service was down more then it was up.I changed to Cal.net because I was tired of paying $140.00 a month for Comcast and their rude customer service and their refusal to not allow me to just have internet but said I had to have the bundle.I've had Cal.net for a year and they replaced my internet box for free with no charge and even calls me and lets me know if my service is needing maintenance.I'm the only one with Cal.net at my apartment and there's one tower on the hill that gives me great service and I found out during the outages that they offer people to charge their phones at their office in Sonora because they have a generator.I just referred my parents to switch to Cal.net at their new residence for cheaper rate and better customer service.

It was good for the 1st couple of months because I had their $118. Still had to reset about once every week. It also hesitated alot. Since I only use one TV and I went down to $70 and it's junk. It's been out for several hours three times in two months and the hestation is upsurd! I called in and they told me it's the services I'm using. In other words it Amazon Prime. Hulu and Which ever apps I'm using. Ofcourse it's not their service. BS. I am looking for something else. When they installed they ran the cable on the ground over a hundred feet. I'm guessing that's the problem. Not worth it. Find something else if you can.

I was a previous Fire2Wire customer prior to Cal.net. Each time I have contacted for tech support they have been great. We had a devastating fire that wiped out our receiver. Ramon from Cal.net was here the day after I called. Ramon was on time, listened to my suggestion about new placement, and got us back into the 21st century in a flash. I've had other rural internet services, but Cal.net is faster and more reliable. It was a pleasure to work with Cassandra and Ramon to get us back up and running. Thank you for your professionalism.

Rhys did a great job setting us up with internet. They spent a lot of time getting our place dialed in to ensure that we had a solid internet connection. We been using the service for about 3 months now and are very happy with our internet :-) Thanks guys!

Great customer service and fast replies to questions. The service is not blazing fast but we have no other options. It will support simultaneous Netflix and browsing. That’s all we need. Installation was fast and professional. Couldn’t ask for much more.

So I moved into a new place and there was no one that could get me any service. I had to have internet because my children are on distance learning and it was vital for their schooling. to have this hooked up they had a rather large deposit but Ben at cal.net waved the deposit because he knew I had just moved and had those expenses. He dropped the deposit and set me up an install date. The technician that came by was extremely polite and got the install done quickly. I have been using this internet for just over two weeks. I stream movies every night as my kids are also on the internet and my son on-line games. not any issues.
