Got a call that the prescription was ready to pick up and when I went in, they said they didn't even have the prescription on file and the doctor would have to call it in again. How does the automated system call me to get a prescription and the pharmacy doesn't even have a record of it on file. I confirmed the doctor had called this exact CVS this morning so they should have the prescription on file. Terrible pharmacy expensive.

I have come to love this place, because of the positive attitudes and earnest effort by staff to help customers.I especially applaud the pharmacy, given I go there frequently, who are amazing in getting orders filled asap and helpful if there is a problem.

I'd give less if I could this pharmacy is the worst by far!! Just know you will be dehumanized and most likely made to think your at fault for the many mistakes they make I say go anywhere else I'm literally on hold now waiting to place a formal complaint to corporate at the request of the front store manager lol seriously. The manager of the store said she new how bad they are and she couldn't do anything about it. So just avoid this place at all cost

For the pharmacy (Mono way CVS Sonora)- I am so sick and tired of dealing with your rude employees. Teach them customer service skills please! Teach them phone etiquette as well!

This pharmacy should be closed! Worst CVS in Sonora . I have been all over the country and have never seen such a bunch of employees so unfriendly. They are not patient centered nor show any interest in ensuring patients have their medications. They won't lift a finger to get clarifications from the doctor nor do they try to assist if medications are on back order. Save yourself time and energy, go somewhere else. I just moved all my prescriptions with another pharmacy in town. It's like night and day. So helpful, so friendly and willing to go the extra mile.

Avoid this pharmacy! Reporting to the Board of Pharmacy pharmacy.ca.gov/consumer… and CVS corporate headquarters asap. Every month my son needs Ritalin LA for his ADHD. He is also autistic and prone to epileptic seizures. Every month they say they need the "diagnostic code" and every month my son's psychiatrist and his staff have already provided this information to them. Due to the nationwide Adderall shortage we had to switch to Ritalin and because both drugs are schedule II medications, we have felt we had to stay with this pharmacy. Last month they were going to make me pay out of pocket for the medication that my son's insurance covers. They know who we are; they have made my son wait an hour to fill a prescription that should already be ready to pick up. When I complained to the male pharmacist on duty, things got worse. This month they are refusing to fill his Rx at all, and we have one pill left. We will be going to the ER and switching pharmacies. They are putting my son at risk of seizure, coma and death. (Note: There are two kind clerks there: a young woman with black hair and a young man whom they just hired.) Everyone else has been unkind, rude, and unprofessional, especially the guy at the drop off/info section. Don't take my word for it, read the other one star reviews. It would be a 1/2 star if that were an option.

I was in today to pick up a prescription, and all went well! I asked about the free COVID tests my insurance covers, and was asked to go to the consultation window. I saw a female with blue and pink hair filling prescriptions at a counter in my view. She was holding the pills with her hands ... maybe that one got away from her? She closed the bottle, put the label on, and put the bottle in a bag. Then she picked up a pen, wrote on a piece of paper, and leaned on the counter with both hands flat. No gloves. No washing her hands after holding the pen or touching the counter. She was talking to an Asian female on the other side of the counter, standing at a computer, chomping away on some chips. Blue/pink hair girl went back to filling bottles ... one after another, touching the pills of most every prescription. I went to the front of the store and asked for a manager; the manager was off and I was directed to a supervisor. . I explained what I saw. I was told that CVS doesn't require gloves. CVS is a huge operation, and should be using automatic pill sorters. I am switching to Rite Aid right immediately.

If you are a nice person and expect to be treated that way, do not use CVS pharmacy in Sonora. They are disrespectful, condescending, do not answer their phone all the time (they hang up on you after it rings for a long time), and are not honest. Talking to the "manager" is useless, she does not listen and sticks up for her selected employees and NEVER expect an "I am so sorry that happened to you" for their poor service. If this is one of your preferred pharmacies in Tuolumne county, I suggest you look elsewhere. I do not expect prompt service, but I do expect honesty and respect.

This place has all morons working there They can get nothing done on their own or get anything right . Rachel is one of the worst. Pos they every month get something wrong with my scripts even though I get the same things and only use 1 insurance .. they still couldn't get it right. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY USE THIS PLACE.. GO TO WALMART THEY DON'T SCREW THINGS UP LIKE THIS NO PLACE.

Not only are the TERRIBLE at filling your perception (I've been told 4x they "haven't received a perception from my doctor") they are rude and crass and uncar8ng about the entire situation. They clearly do not know how to do their jobs nor do they care. The lady was to busy sucking on ice cubes to even bother trying to help me with my MANDTORY medication that my doctor has send in requests now FIVE times in the past month which I've officially been out of now for almost 2 weeks. Even though we made sure to send in the refill an entire MONTH before I was due to be out to AVOID this. Of course they told me that my doctor was to blame and that I should have called to check with them. Refused to take any blame whatsoever. Refused to fill the prescription once the doctor called them while I was there in person to have it EXPEDITED. This place is a joke. Employees are a joke. Entire Pharmacy is A JOKE. Will never EVER use this phoney excuse for a pharmacy again. Should be shut down, they are honestly a danger at this point for people who rely on their meds being filled. Surprised they don't have a lawsuit for it already. Insane. Would give negative stars if I could.

The customer service is below what I have experienced with other pharmacies. Hence only 3 stars. Lack of a simple things like a smile or yes we can help you seem to be missing here.

teach your employees their jobs, stop throwing people into jobs their not trained for, capitalone checking account holders are supposed to be able to make cash deposits at any cvs at the cashier, yet none of them know how to do this? I'm a cab driver, my income is exclusively CASH I can't make a deposit at an ATM because capitalone doesn't have any ATM'S in sonora! I have to go to another banks ATM which won't allow me to deposit, only withdraw, the only way to deposit cash into my bank is to go to CVS!
