How Lowe's Ruined Christmas and New Years Eve! I thought that purchasing a Microwave/ Oven combo unit would be a simple thing for Lowe's Sonora but apparently they can't handle such things. First they charge my card and maintain a $3500.00 pending while I wait a Month. Then what they don't tell you is they check the charge once a week by charging again but with the pending status my card gets declined and the ordered gets cancelled. When I clear up their mess my delivery date is pushed out even further now and blows by Christmas! Thanks Lowe's now I change my entire family plans for Christmas Eve dinner. I get a new date of December 30! Ok I'll have to deal with that all the while I'm off and on with an electrician who I have to pay for. Guess what? They don't notify me that on the 30th the truck driver was only 30 mins from my house but decides to end his day early! No delivery! The Lowe's customer care service dept says "Oh well can't deliver!" Then they ask do I want a delivery on the 1st? Sure I say but are people working? "Yes" they say firmly to my doubts but I try and believe them. Guess what!? They're knocking off early on News Years Day! Go figure! Do they promise me yet another delivery date?! Of course they do! Jan 2nd! But now Let's recap- Christmas dinner ruined New Years Eve Dinner Ruined Paid for electrician cancellations 4 times $500 dollars And no guarantee it's actually coming tomorrow!! I will never shop at Lowe's again I will put this article in my local paper I will tell all my friends to avoid the lowest of Lowe's I will put an ad out telling my story so people can see how bad Lowe's is. In the meantime my old oven sits on my porch!

Big box = big dissatisfaction. Red flags all over this store and all of their "specialty" service departments. Poor experiences in windows, window treatments, doors, flooring, kitchen cabinets, paint and customer service. If you are looking to purchase anything more than a screwdriver l strongly advise you buy somewhere else. Deliveries will be rescheduled without your knowledge, associates will hang up on you, and the hidden markup is not worth the cost of inconvenience. ABC Supply co maybe your better bet.

A very bad experience with our purchases at this Lowes. We are slowly finishing up with a kitchen remodel at out cabin. We ordered a cast iron Kohler sink, refrigerator, gas stove and a fan from the Sonora Lowes. The only thing that went well was the sink but that's only because when that came in our plumber picked it up and installed it. The refrigerator and stove delivery was delayed twice. When they finally came to install them, they couldn't connect the stove or put the propane part in, which we paid for. The delivery driver left the stove in the middle of the kitchen and I had to call my plumber back to connect the gas and install the propane parts, which fortunately he was able to do. The delivery driver said they don't do that, but they never told me that untill after when the stove is in the middle of our kitchen and we can't even use it. You can't get straight answers from anyone here. A real lack of clear communication.

Last year I gave them 5 stars. This year 1. What is wrong with Lowe's. They put you on hold then hang up. They only have 1 person for returns and on line orders. It like I am doing business with one of the worst companies ever. I ordered windows and they installed half. One month later I am calling daily to find out where they are at//.they are worthless. The only nice thing was the window salesman Salas. Lowe's need to improve as they are horrible and getting worse

This one is personal. 4 TIMES. That is how many times I tried to buy from Lowes with my new business account. FAILURE. In store and deliveries. No difference. They talked me into opening up a business account. Offered me discounts and specials. The truth is that employees get credit for opening these accounts. The hell with the customers. The fourth time I tried to order I thought they fixed the problems on my account. I thought I was going to be successful on a delivery for some cinder blocks. NO SUCH LUCK. "Nothing coming today" Said Lowe's. But the guys at the job site are expecting to be paid. Do you know what compensation I got from Lowe's? "SORRY". Tell me one person that can spend SORRY. I can drive down to the Bay Area, Rent a trailer, load up, drive back to Murphys and I will have saved money. Is this Lowe's or management at Lowe's Sonora? At this point, who cares!! I guess when you get as big as Lowe's customers falling off the Lowe's wagon are acceptable. My question is how many customers you want to lose before it's unacceptable? I really want to curse and call you guys names. But, I won't. I will say this. No one at Lowe's Sonora knows what they are doing. They are concerned about 3 things. Break time, Lunch time and Quitting time. Lowe's is a liability. You owe me money.

Old washer and dryer removed (for a fee). New washer and dryer delivered fast and expertly. I got a call from an automated lady the day before saying delivery would be between 7am and 11am. Delivery folks called me on delivery day at 6:30am saying they were ten minutes away. Ok, so I won't look cute, but very happy to receive my appliances first thing. Very nice, thorough and patient delivery folks today (8/9/23) in downtown Sonora.

We bought cabinets for our kitchen (over 10K) Lowe's offered a deliver, which we choose. When the cabinets were delivered by the trucking company, they broke our automatic gate to get (I watched them do it, as did our neighbors). When we called Lowe's to have them reimburse us for the damage, they referred us to the trucking company. The company denied all and refused to pay. Lowe's did nothing to help. We bought from Lowe's, they are responsible for their vendors. They choose not to help. PS, the delivery companies employees reeked of merijuana as did the truck.

Ordered washer/dryer January 11th ... its now scheduled April 10th. Thats 3 months and still not delivered. I've called several times just to get the run around. Once, I called once and they suggested it was a "parts" problem. The next time I call the person said these are all stock items ad there is no "parts" problem. They have rescheduled me(all but 2 without a phone call) 20 times.... 20 times!!! The people who did call said they were there "temporarily" there as the regular scheduler was out sick. This means the regular scheduler has NEVER reached out to me in 3 months. Maybe I'll get lucky and the person responsible for scheduling goes on vacation soon so that a temp can at least pretend the money I spent 3 months ago means something to the store. What a joke of a scheduling/delivery department as well as management. Is the best team they can get together out there?!? Unfortunately, I think it might be.....

Just awful. I really don't know how they stay in business. Ridiculously bad customer service. Idiots running the place. If you need help do NOT expect assistance from asst. store manager Larry Moreno, or Alma, or Sandra and definitely not the store manager Christian Alvarez. Unhelpful to the point of obstruction. I had to try and salvage my project through the 800 customer service number. Hours on hold and numerous tries to explain my situation. The above named employees are worthless. They do everything they can to NOT help. Lazy employees and legal marijuana do no favors California. But tryAnd drug test employees? You'd have ZERO employees.

Lowe's delivered refrigerator and didn't pickup the old one, so I called and they reschedule the pickup! Eric the driver who picked up the refrigerator was awesone and very friendly! Went above and beyond to make sure he was picking up the right item and that I was completely satisfied!! Eric. Thank you for being Awesome and caring about your customers!

I walked in this Store on 11-28-22 and ordered an oven for my cabin which I Air B&B. I placed the order in the Appliance Department and was told to Check-Out out at front Cashier. It took the cashier 20 mins to find my order because the Appliance department wrote my phone number down incorrectly. So thinking I am squared away, I confirmed my delivery for 12-07-22, gave instructions for the driver to call me so I can give them a code to enter the house as I am not there. Then I had to block out the reservation dates on my rental until the delivery date of 12-07 . Dec 07th rolls around no phone, call no delivery. I call Lowes get put on hold for over an hr, between them transferring me around. Come to find out the delivery was cancelled due to weather, No Call! So now the delivery is reschedule for 12-14-22, extra dates blocked out. Dec 14th Rolls around no call, no Show. Again I call the Store, it takes me 6 tries to get through, only to be shuffled around for another hr. Finally I get a Manager, they said the Drivers showed up, but no one was home, no one answered the phone. I asked them what number did they call, he gave me the wrong number. O.K, we found the problem my phone number was incorrect in the system. Apologies, says the manager we can have them come out 12-20-22, We have the correct number now, the driver has the special instruction you are all set. Yesterday NO CALL, NO SHOW... Now I have a renter scheduled Next week and no working Oven! I have been hold with them for an hr. as I type... Smshh.

Lowe's ordered incorrect materials for a flooring installation recently in June and never refunded me for it - still working on trying to get the refund! I call every week and am as nice I can be, but how crooked! Thought a big box store would be able to be more supportive when they make a mistake.

One cannot understand the negativity for lowes. I was happy to see them join out community and am still happy they are here. They provide a great diversity of products. The new mvp program helps the more frequent shoppers with additional discounts. Ok I understand there are stocking issues and the HUGE CONTINUING MESS in plumbing, but given the costly alternatives in town. Not so bad. We have yet to have a bad customer experience with any associate. Treat them with the respect due another human being faced with the same enormity of stuff in the store. Or better yet use the app for ur phone. One can't trust the in stock quantity but they know where it should be (except seasonal stuff - that's a crap shoot). They reason we gave them Only 3 stars is the phone service is terrible. Hold on TERRIBLE! It's not the people answering but the actual system. Try placing an online or special order for a door, or washer dryer, or window, or anything else and check to see if it's there or get an update. U have a better chance at the lottery....you will be frustrated with hang ups, miss direction or getting to listen to the open dialog over and over. So to sum it up fix the phone system and organize the plumbing department and 5 stars is a possibility. Happy lowes is here but they are underperforming to their ability.
