I’d prefer to give negative stars, but that’s not an option. Last year, I had an appointment for my 2 dogs… I always arrive early and ask them at check in “are they running late?”
I waited 90 minutes before being seen by the tech, then the doctor. The front desk personnel were rude and inconsiderate of the patient/owners time.
Last month, same situation. I showed up early, waited 39 minutes past my appointment time and was never called back to a room. When I said “I can’t keep waiting, I need to go,” their response “oh not a problem”
I’m sorry?! WHAT?! It was very much a problem!! No apology, no attempt to reschedule, NOTHING!!
Awful wait times, AWFUL front office management, rude, inconsiderate staff.
I’ve been taking my pets here for years and I will not be taking them back. The change of ownership has been nothing but an absolute joke!!

Brought 2 different cats in for the same issue. 1 is now dead after being treated there and the other was sent home with $30 de-wormer and a $500 bill. They tried to charge for labs BEFORE the labs were performed. We had to ask them to only charge for the services provided which dropped the bill to $160. And even after all the various $160-$300 visits for this cat, they still say they "don't know" what is wrong with the cat. They told us to "change it's diet". Never going back.

Honestly so disappointed in this vet. I will never go there again. I would say without a doubt this is the worst vet in Tuolumne.
I've spent thousands of dollars on my dogs skin issue and nothing got fixed. She has really red hot skin and won't stop itching. We've done:
Allergy tests
Specialized allergy medicine specifically for her allergies
Skin tests
Various medicines
All that happens is I get 'oh well if it's not working we need to stop and try something else.'
I even had one of the vets say that she couldn't help me during my appointment because she hasn't seen my dog before and I shouldn't have booked her .... ???? Their front desk is the one who made the appointment for me. I waited in the waiting room for almost 2 hours even though I had an appointment just to have the vet say I need to schedule with a different vet.
I've also had urgent issues with my other dogs and they tell me they can't help me and I need to go to Oakdale.

Mono way canceled my sweet babies comfort care medication with no warning. The next day i received an email late Friday stating his medication needs a refill and has to come into the office for a checkup. With only 2 days and being that they are not open on the weekends i was devastated.
This is the response to the email.
Nash is an 11 year old doberman that is unable to get into a vehicle. We have been outstanding customers and fulfilling our responsibilities as a owner. We have always taken excellent care and taken him into mono way veterinarian group his whole life for all his care and surgeries. Over 20,000. For care, surgeries and medication has gone to your group. In fact all of our pets 4 have been under the care of mono way. Now that he is old and frale Im apauled that you had the audacity to cancle his anti-flamatory and pain medication at the last moment with only a 3 day supply left. You did this with no warning. You didnt even take the time to call or look in his chart to see the notes that he is not physically able to get into a vehicle. I need to let you know that this is cruel and in humane. I will not be able to referr or continue to support your clinic in any way. You should be ashamed.
You really lost all your morals by not keeping Dr. Wess.

Love it♡ they took amazing care of my dog when she broke her leg. Then again when both dogs got updated rabies vaccine. We were in and out.

I have been a good customer for years. All of my furballs went there. Now as a regular customer it's hard to even get in. Back in april 2024 I tried to get her in for a gaping wound and was told the only openings were in June. Very disappointed they weren't even going to get her in for treatment. We'll thank God others who were willing help. Not any customer service from them. I loved it when Wes was there.

I called yesterday, as my vet for my cat passed away last month, and asked if I could bring my cat in to get her nails trimmed. I got an appointment for this morning at 9am, and met Jillian, the Vet Tech, she was amazing. I previously with my other vet had to have my cat sedated to get her nails trimmed. Jillian understood my cat, as she is a calico she knew she may be difficult. She and another young man tech were able to gently put her in a towel and clip her nails without effort or incident. I cost me $23 which I thought was reasonable, and I was out of there by 9:20a. Very Happy! Jillian is amazing! I highly recommend Mono Way Vet. Lois, Sonora, CA

Staff was very kind and accommodating to our elderly dog and puppy. Scheduling and paying the bill was a breeze and the place is clean and inviting.

Terrible customer service, always too busy, never can get a same day appointment for a sick dog.... heartless, go into another profession, you have no compassion period!
