Lazy techs, had my truck for two days and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it after I told them a spark plug was bad, showed them a video of the issue and pictures of the P-Codes that I pulled with my code reader. They tried to return my vehicle after the first day and told me nothing was wrong. After leaving and getting on the freeway it misfired. Took it right back to them. The lead tech came out with a huge attitude like I was inconveniencing him. The next day they replaced the plug. I kissed one day of work and had to rent a truck because of their laziness. On a positive note, the manager only charged me the diagnostic fee and waived the labor for changing the plug due to the mistake.

This is a mafia like dealership filled with the good guy here and there but sales is just full of guys who will look you in the eye and hold your truck unless you pay 70,000 over msrp in cash the guy closest to the door is the biggest scum bag I've ever encountered and just the da t they let him keep his job after he attempted to rip me off I just reported the whole dealership and individual to ford I recommend anyone else who's had issues with prices here to add to the apparently rather large number of complaints so sez the ford corp guy I spoke to Abd he actually verified . The dealers name once I provided his id number Ford Sonora will not get approval for Ford's next step and will be closed in 3-5 years max so get used to going somewhere else

I bought my 22 Ranger in July of 22. I took it to Sonora Ford for its very first oil change at 4600 miles (I don't drive it much) on 18 August 2023. I liked the service area of this dealership. They have representatives who provide excellent individual attention to customers, they keep you updated on repair progress, and thoroughly explain the results of the repair as well as issues found. I will take my truck back there for service again.

My Mom purchased her car from your lot 2014 she has always brought her Focus in for regular maintenance. This last visit she was told her lug nut caps were getting swollen and needed to be replace you quoted 300 dollars! My brother ordered real steel lug nuts for 40 dollars and Wright Tires installed them for 10 dollars... If you are aware of this issue why is Ford putting those cheep parts on the cars... then raping the customer that is WRONG! My Mom will not be coming to your Service department anymore Wright Tire referred us to auto repair company who doesn't price gouge.

You know how when you go car shopping you get your ass kissed and then lied to about everything? And then you finally navigate through all the BS and come to a deal that will work for you but it doesn't matter because the financial guy changes everything without telling you so you have to start over? You know how they try to sell you things you don't want and/or already have? You know how they have no respect or integrity when it comes to customer relationships? You know how the sales team, management and service department all dislike and work against each other but screwing over the client is something they can all rally around? If you enjoy being treated like this, shop here.

Took my F250 4x4 to Sonora Ford. Had $6500.00 of repairs completed. Ranging from power steering pump, hoses, clamps. Both exhaust manifolds replaced. Replaced heater assembly w/all hoses. Replaced left front lock hub assembly. Serviced fuel injection assembly. And completed various wire repairs. On my trip home the ABS light came on. Return same day. They solved the issue at no charge, since they had broken the ABS Sensor. One month later, my open door light stays on and power locks stopped working. Took truck back for a diagnostic inspection. The next day, they phoned for me to pickup the truck. Charged $175.00 and stated,"they could not find the cause of the problem." Stated," I should have them Re-wire the truck." WHAT A JOKE. I took my truck and left. I will NEVER return to Sonora Ford. After spending over $6500.00 and being treated this way I will take this truck and all my vehicles plus my family and friends vehicles else where. Sonora Ford is a COMPLETE RIP OFF. Beware of ever going there. I was warned of their shotty business practices by my neighbor. And should have listened. Sonora folks BEWARE OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT SONORA FORD.

HUUUUUGEE waste of time and money! Unfortunately had to tow my truck here since it was nearest location to where I broke down. They tried to convince me it was over $4,000 in repairs to replace a sensor and that nothing was covered by my warranty since there was "too much mud" on the vehicle (it's a 4wd truck). I immediately shipped the truck over to Folsom Lake Ford who quickly diagnosed all of the issues which had NOTHING TO DO with mud on the vehicle, or any expensive sensors that Sonora Ford was claiming. Folsom took care of everything so quickly and confirmed it was ALL covered under my ford warranty. Please take the time to drive to any other ford dealership. It will save you thousands!

I wish there was a lower score but there isn't so a 1 star they get. This has to be the WORST place to take your car. We were warned by our mechanic not to go to Sonora Ford go to Oakdale Ford. They had our car for almost 3 days to try to find out why our car locks were locking and unlocking. The first day they said they could not find a thing. The next 2 days was just JACKING ME AROUND. I had to call every 2 hours to find out if I can pick up my car. Here are the excuses I would get, 1) we don't have the part yet. 2) I don't know when it will be done. 3) we haven't taken it in yet. I then asked for the Service Manager Chuck what a joke he is. It's 3:30 now it will be done today. That's all he had to say. He was talking over me. IT WILL BE DONE TODAY. WHAT TIME CAN I PICK IT UP. It will be done today. A friend picked me up we went to check out my car. The technician that was working on my car said my car is done. He also said he just got the paperwork for my car at 4:10pm today. And had the car done in 10 minutes. The more people I talk too the more I find out how many HATE SONORA FORD. PLEASE PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO COST $175.00 I walked away with $750.00.

Never heard from Kelly or anyone else at this dealership. He most certainly realized his staff performed the unethical business practice of canceling a deal to get more money from someone else. Stay away from this batch of crooks. Even Kelly R. "Business Manager" has nothing to say! NEED PROOF, sure - see attached images (receipt and email exchange - truck is yours!). How would you like it if you made a deal, sold your work vehicle knowing the one you purchased was due within a few weeks only to get a call later stating, "oops, my GM sold the vehicle before he left on vacation several weeks ago and forgot to tell everyone/anyone!"

Purchasing a car can be so stressful from finding the right vehicle that checks all the boxes to getting set up with the right auto salesman. Sonora Ford from start to finish made the car buying process enjoyable and painless. Gary Powell at Sonora Ford completely stands apart from the rest. From the moment I met Gary I knew he was my salesman. He truly cared about me and my needs. He never once tried to push me to make a purchase I wasn't ready for. He was patient and determined to find me the right vehicle at the right price. Gary is the total package and a total asset to Sonora Ford. Thank you to everyone there who helped me along the way. Great people, great cars, great business.

Thank you Sonora Ford And Subaru for a great experience purchasing my Outback. I drove from Modesto to meet with Jacob Schader to discuss my purchase. He was prepared with answers to my questions. Jacob's professional demeanor and courtesy sold me on Sonora Ford. When I arrived to pick up my car I was met by Matthew Dunlap and the Excellent customer service continued through out the transactions. Thank you both for making the painful car buying process so pleasant.

I have never seen any business ever be so inept, useless and unresponsive. Not only have they had our truck for over a month, with every excuse in the world as to why, but the don't even bother to return calls or communicate in any way. We are in the market for a new vehicle and it will certainly not be a Ford. The service manager, Chick, should be fired. He has demonstrated that he is inept in his job and holds no one on his team accountable.Holding a work truck hostage for over a month with no communication is abhorrent. We are contacting Ford headquarters to report this dealership as they seem to be doing this to many others. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS
