I have always had a good experience when I have gone to Calaveras and/or Sonora lumber. The only thing I don’t understand is how my phone number got deleted them from the system because I use Sonora and Calaveras lumber a lot. I also am a veteran, and I appreciate whatever discounts I am able to get from Calaveras/Sonora lumber thank you.
(LOVE, love, love Calaveras Lumber)!!! Wish Sonora had that amount of space to display and sell things as Calaveras Lumber does.

Great store, outstanding service
I just bought a Stil weed cutter from Mitch and had the best experience. He not only answered all my questions but fired the unit I bought up and showed me the startup procedures. Thanks

Best help in town, they have everything you need at great prices, in and out... big box stores in town take the profit and go, are overcrowded and often unhelpful. This is the place to go for your hardware needs.

We were proud to buy local from Sonora lumber so we ordered composite decking from them and paid to have it delivered. They mistakenly delivered the wrong color but were so apologetic about it and assured us they would get us the correct product we ordered soon. 2 days passed by and we did not hear from them so we called them and they said they were too busy and would call back. We waited all day and finally drove down there. The gentleman who had previously reassured us he would fix this right away and was super nice and apologetic ignored us and wouldn't help us. His name was Dominique. Jim the gentleman who took the order originally was also very rude when we arrived. We were excited about buying local but we couldn't get the help that we wanted there so we just asked for a refund. We will not be back unless we have no choice. The service we received was very disappointing at best.
