The Sonora Inn is a charming, historic hotel located in the heart of downtown, making it a great place to enjoy the area. The rooms have been nicely renovated with modern touches, and are clean, though a bit small. The staff are very friendly and helpful, with front desk employees providing excellent service. Guests appreciate the unique atmosphere and the helpful, considerate service, including small thoughtful touches like the elevator opening for guests. The hotel offers a good breakfast, and although the pool and gym are not open, they are expected to be great when available. Overall, it’s a comfortable, reasonably priced place to stay.
Like the historical aspect, but the bathroom could use a little upgrading. Staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Older hotel but our room was updated and comfortable. Pool steps need to be redone or a caution sign put in place. Continental breakfast was acceptable and front desk staff friendly and helpful. Location is good - walking distance to several good restaurants and shops.
