Spoke too soon about the great experience on my first visit to Cigar Palace. Apparently on your first visit they will treat you great to get your business. My 4 subsequent trips and purchases were a bust!! Items with instruction book missing. "come down, we will get you one. Oh, gee, sold out can't help." New vape batteries that would not hold a charge for 5 minutes. "yes, some issues". so you knew, sold it to me anyway and then offer no replacement. Cartridge magnets? Will order. didn't come in probably never get them. Buy a new type w/o batteries!!!! I have 4 they sold me, not great quality afterall, and they want to sell me #5? Already threw away over $100!!!! That place was like a different store for 4 consecutive purchases after first. Next time I will wait to see repeat experiences before ignorantly posting a fabulous review for one transaction!!

The owner spoke with me about an issue regarding one of his employees and told me all was resolved, but the next time I go i'm being denied service despite the owner giving me his word that all was good and I can come in anytime for anything I want. I've been nothing but respectful but this certain employee wants to hold a grudge and the owner goes back on his word backing it. StarZone Smoke Shop on Seabright is way better, service wise and price wise.

Great cigar selection, effective walk-in humidor, fair prices plus a decent selection of quality accessories too.Of course, they cater to the stoner and crackhead crowds too with a huge selection of various glass smoking tools you don't want a cop to see in your console, but they do a real good job keeping the classy cigar side separate from the kitschy dope wares.Staff turnover has created a shift from good cheer and gratitude to grumpy young indifference, and that's why only three stars. Bring back even one of the original 3 men and 1 woman from a few years back and we'd be right back up to 5 stars.A little more Don Pepin please.

Update: Just got off the phone with Saba, the owner. He seems determined to make things right. I will be meeting him at the shop shortly. I will be sure update my review afterwards.Update 2: Saba was honest and very helpful. He was able to make things right and gave me a different brand with a better reputation and a bonus for my trouble.I’m still going to leave a star off because the employee I spoke with on the phone was rude. When I told him that my only options if he was refusing a refund or replacement would be to submit a chargeback and a customer complaint, he went as far as saying I would be banned from the store.I would recommend Cigar Palace. Just know that the employees have limited power to offer refunds or replacements. If you have a problem, ask to speak with Saba. He will take care of you.I would not, however, recommend buying vapes from EB Design. I’m not sure whether the product I purchased was counterfeit or was just lacking nicotine, but even given the best case scenario that it was indeed a genuine product, the fact that there was little or no nicotine in a nicotine vape speaks to extremely poor quality control.Thank you Saba for your excellent customer service!Original Review:They sell counterfeit vapes and don’t seem to care to make it right. I bought two BC5000 vapes from Cigar Palace about a month apart. The first one performed exactly as expected. However, I noticed right away that the second one seemed to have little or no nicotine. I am a casual user, so I can always feel the effects of a vape within 2-5 puffs. After 20 puffs, I felt nothing. Suspecting a fake, I did some research and it appears I was sold a counterfeit vape. As you can see in the pictures I provided, the fake has poor quality printing, is a different color and is slightly taller than the genuine vape. I called and gave them an opportunity to make it right and the best I got was that they could sell me a different brand. A refund or exchange was out of the question. So, I would not recommend buying anything from here.

This place, an underrated local gem, needs to be exposed! I've never seen such good deals! I'm not just saying for smoking supplies but for fresh hats, shirts, sunglasses, knives, pipes/bongs/etc, tobacco, cigarettes, the list GOES ON... If you smoke ANYTHING, or even if you want to be able to get the stylish look for yourself, CHECK OUT CIGAR PALACE! The name should really be "Smokin' Palace" because if you like others to think you're "smokin hot" , or if you smoke anything (tobacco, 420, etc) you won't find any better deals anywhere in Santa Cruz!!! (For example: brand new hat, at competitors store:$25, at cigar Palace: $10.95!!!! Wow!

Fast service. They have the ecigs pods I need and a lot of other items for sale as well. I go there month or so and I'm happy to say they are nearby.
