I should have looked at the reviews before coming here. This is supposed to be a family owned business..more like a mafia. They ripped me off doing low down business. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS place. They tricked me into paying extra by telling me it didn’t pass. The young lady who seemed nice said to drive it for a while and come back. I did that and came back then waited several hours later. So it passed just because I was told to drive it and then I have to pay almost double what I originally paid? Instead of $90 I paid over $150.00. Then she said it’s stated on the wall. After the fact she says that. That’s the scam they probably are doing to people. This so called family business should be reported. DO NOT EXPECT HONESTY AND INTEGRITY. These people are out right crooks. The worst of this is that the employee at the desk smiles offering me $5.00 discount after she knew the business scammed me. Some people can stoop down so low and wallow in their filth of deception. This business is steep in the muck. Read other reviews like I should’ve before even coming here.

The rudest customer "service" I've had anywhere. So five stars for that if that was the goal, but guessing it wasn't. As other reviewers mentioned (and they did explain over the phone) they don't take cars between 12:00 at 2:00 p.m. during lunch, so I arrived after 2:00 p.m. The front desk woman, Myra, wore sunglasses with an ear bud in her right ear while checking me in, but otherwise didn't greet me at all. I thought maybe she was in the middle of something so I waited. I mean, does she even see me? I stood there for a few awkward seconds until she finally said, "Can I help you?" Yes, please. I asked some questions about my paperwork, and she was super off-putting. "They can look up your VIN but I can't" and some other non-helpful eye rolling comments. Yikes. Deep breaths. I go get my documents from the vehicle. I feel like I went out of my way to be patient and friendly despite her terrible attitude and so as not to cause a scene in front of the clientele. After all, I'm here to handle my business and get on with life. So I just waited outside while they did the smog. When I finished paying, she tossed my documents through the window followed by my key fob landing on top of them! WTH? At the end of the day, the technician was thorough and my vehicle passed (mission accomplished) but I noticed a whistling sound on the drive home so hopefully it's nothing serious since I don't plan on recommending this place or returning either way. Bummer since this is a local shop I would have loved to support long-term. Prioritize your customers and treat them with at least some basic common courtesy. YOU are the first impression of this business. It takes more energy to be so rude. And even more energy for me to stand in the face of it. No thank you.

This is the ONLY smog place I have ever been that still charges you if you don't pass. My car didn't pass initially because it had a new battery and I was told by them I needed to drive it around and come back for "recheck" - $21. In the end I'd not only paid the initial full fee, the recheck fee, but now it's an additional $8 for the smog certificate?! Total ripoff, never again.

I go here twice a year, The real service is: ask for DMV form and mileage. if people find that upsetting then smog check should learn how to deal with the entitled .I find The service easy fast and great. I have always been impressed with techs and the staff. One gentleman is the best mechanic west of the Pecos. They have a Female smog tech and are female owned,Remember This an excellent multigenerational business That has also gone through weather, Covid , flu and are still open and still local.By the way al the bad reviews had the car fail. You brought the car to them and then got upset when they let you know it is not correct.

These guys are the best. The guy actually came out and helped me during his busy day to address an issue I had with another smog place that was giving me the run around. Coming back to them from here on out!

Total rip off. Poor customer service. Does not know old cars.
Guy claims he knows about older Porsches, but clearly did not. He thought my stock Gen 1 Boxster had been modified. I had the dealership confirm it was stock. But, no, he thought he knew better from his quick Google search. If you don’t know, that’s fine. Just don’t claim you do and then waste my time and money. He couldn’t give me a refund unless I came back in. Are you serious?
I’ve also never met someone with such horrible manners. You can at least be civil when dealing with people. You’re in customer service!
