This is about the Soquel Home Depot. I was looking for a Milwaukee drill that was on sale. The internet was showing three in stock at that price. The problem was that Home Depot has all this inventor spread out in multiple locations so you cannot find anything. Two home depot representatives spent at least 30-45 minutes trying to help me find one of those drills. Sure enough they did and were successful. This is a five star review, thanks to those that helped me. As for the store, management needs to do better in indicating where store inventory is located. Add RFID tags if needed to pinpoint the location within the store so customers/employees don't have to waste 45 minutes looking.

I think Home Depot has a lot of of really good items for a great price. The online store is where to go to find anything you found somewhere else but usually at a lower price. I saw beautiful custom tile for my showers online in a boutique store from New York City. To my surprise the exact same tile I found on line at Home Depot for 15% less. I received it via home delivery within a week.

Do Not order carpeting from Home Depot! Have spent at least an hour a day all week to get a refund on a carpet we ordered and returned. They sold me a carpet installation but when the installer came to my house that installer said they had not done an installation on stairs in years. Utter incompetence!!. To say we got the 'run around' from their Capitola California store is a vast understatement. Two hours on the phone today and the problem is still not resolved. They owe me $1000 for the carpet I returned.

All Home Depot's suck. Those aren't great deals when the products aren't equivalent in quality. Go to a real lumber yard and see that the selection is ten fold, prices are near the same. If you're buying a larger order, deal with a salesman not cashier and can probably negotiate contractors pricing too.

I have had a long, frustrating and hard to imagine experience after a custom door from this location. It took more than three months after paying for the item to have it available. However, the store never contacted me to tell me it was available, I had to call multiple times and pay several visits before finding out the door had been sitting there for a month. It was explained to me they were working with a new system, and it had not notified the installer that said door was available. Finally I was contacted by the installer and arranged for a date to be installed. Nobody showed up on that day and calling me installer and the store, nobody told me what had happened. Apparently the installer determined the damaged door was not suitable for installation and therefore was not going to complete the job. The problem is nobody at Home Depot or the insulation company bothered to tell me despite the fact that I had taken the day off work, and my family was waiting For this completed before we left on our Thanksgiving trip. Need to say it was another wasted day... This one a little bit more impactful... In a very long and dreadful episode delete is abysmal, the communication is nonexistent, and the attention to detail is a joke .

I normally like this Home Depot but I went to curbside pickup number 2 on 11/18 at 4:45 and waited for half an hour for no reason, the app told me someone would bring my order. I had my son in the car with me. I approached an employee and told him what's going on, he asked another employee who said the "curbside pickup guy quit, you need to go to customer service" I then had to go to customer service and there was a big line with one person there alone, after another customer complained he finally requested some help at customer service through the loud speaker. The guy at customer service was nice and I have no issue with him but this is a huge management issue, put some signs out at the curbside pickup number signs so that loyal customers are not waiting around with nobody coming out. Completely unacceptable. I ended up putting my own sign up on #2 but it's rainy and it will get ruined over night. Management: laminate some signs and post them until this issue is resolved, will literally take 10 minutes and will prevent wasting tons of customer's time...

I go here a bunch but today I was there and I saw a empty fridge box that would be an awesome fort for my 5 year old. I was buying some other things and asked Michelle if I could have the box. She went the extra mile and held my baby girl while I checked out and helped me put it in my van. It's the small things that matter in life and being kind and stoking out a child she never meet meant a lot. Mahalo Michelle

Worst customer service ever! We had an appointment with Kimberly C for cabinets today. When we showed up she told us that she was helping another customer and didn't have time for us. No apology. No offer to reschedule. I asked to speak to a manager, they pointed me to Alex. He refused to even hear my issue...So no, I won't be back. I am now a Lowe's customer for life.

Based on Customer Service - Order not worded correctly so two boxed toilets left in driveway this AM. One was to go to back unit. Driver never knocked on our door. Contacted customer service in Soquel and was told drivers are not employed by Home Depot. If they don't want to come back then they won't. That is where the phrase "TWO WRONGS DON'T MAKE A RIGHT". comes from. Inaccurate order directions and drivers who make their own decisions.Never again Home Depot.

There are major issues with the paint department. Their ability to match paint is non existent. They are also way too concerned with getting you to buy more expensive paint, to the point of almost refusing to just match the paint sample you give them and give you what you are requesting. They are incredibly rude while doing so, as if they are used to fielding off all the customers who are forced to come back because they got the completely wrong color/finish. Then they refuse to let you return or exchange the unuseable paint they sold you.I simply needed plain, flat, white ceiling paint that appeared to have no tint in it, and even that was not possible. They were more concerned with selling me the expensive "scrubbable" flat paint, which actually has more of an eggshell sheen. When I showed them the pics of the shiny spots all over my ceiling where I had patched some holes, they insisted it was my camera. Then they made me wait while they made their own sample from the bad paint, which showed the same sheen. They said it must not be dry and made me wait 10 minutes while they dried this paint to just to prove a point. The guy absolutely refused to refund or even exchange for the right kind of paint and was literally yelling while debating me about all of this, over one quart of paint. I asked what happens if its wrong again, and he wouldnt answer. I still had to fix my ceiling so I asked them to match the same sample of drywall that came directly from my ceiling that I brought the first time and he tried to color match from the can I was trying to return instead. I had to stop hom and tell him to use the sample I gave him and specifically told him not to attempt to match a bad can of paint I couldnt use. He continued to try to match from the bad paint anyways. I told him I had a disabled person to get home to multiple times whole this guy haggled, yelled and ignored everything I asked for. I finally had to leave without paint. The other can of paint I got was way also way off. Something is wrong with their color matching system and instead of fixing it or making it right, they gaslight and fight with customers. these guys cant even tell you what sheen to get when you bring a 6" block of the actual drywall of the paint you need. And if you think the supervisor cares, she was right there with him arguing with a customer and was incredibly rude. Four out of four cans were all WRONG. Then they put "no returns" right on the label while the Home Depot website guarantees their color match system with an exchange or return. This store refuses to do either.I suggest this store stop obsessing on pushing expensive paint and learn how to match both the sheen and color of the samples people bring you. Also honor the Home Depot policy to return or exchange paint if its poorly matched.
