“Absolutely wonderful. My cat broke her tooth a week or so ago, I was scheduled with a different vet that suddenly wasn’t able to help her. I called Santa Cruz Vet Hospital and they were able to get my cat in same day for an exam, and schedule an extraction procedure the following day. My cat was SO comfortable being in this office, the vet who saw her was amazing and gave my cat the space and patience to get comfortable before being picked up. The front office and back office techs are wonderful as well! I would 100% recommend this vet office to anybody and everybody. Thank you everyone at this office for being so helpful and kind :)
Edit: I forgot to add that this clinic is extremely affordable in terms of veterinary care. The estimate that i received from them was considerably lower for the exact same care from other clinics in the area, i wish i could give more than 5 stars for everything!”

“Dr. McConnell (Ty) and his team are the best of the best! We rescue seniors dogs. They often come with multiple medical issues. I don’t trust anyone else with my dogs than Ty. We have been with him for over 5 years. He was Ames amazing care of our furry kids. His team is beyond amazing! We highly recommend McConnell vet services! Your pets will thank you ?”

“Dr. Em and Dr. Shull are the absolute best! We have been bringing our pets here for over 30 years, and they have always been so understanding, kind, and experts in their field. Dr. Miller is always an incredible sounding board, and recently, with my dog Cooper's surgery, they have been with me every step of the way and encouraged me to get a second opinion. They are fast to respond and reliable. They always make you feel as if your pet is their pet, and you can tell they truly care. I know I can always text and call and get a quick response that is thoughtful and helpful. Their front-of-office staff is also incredible and always kind and helpful. I could not recommend them anymore.”

“The reason I’m giving a 5 star is because of Dr Sangimino. In my dog’s 12 years of life with different doctors, she is the best Vet because she is kind, empathetic, and appears to genuinely cares for my dog. Dr Sangimino calmed my dog before examining her, and she talked through the examination, which I found helpful. I am very thankful for her.”

“So far, so good. We dropped off our pup there for her first overnight stay since they are close to our house.

The staff was friendly, and everything went smooth. Not to mention, their daycare and over night stays are reasonably priced.

The only feedback I'd give is that they should charge/allow after hours pick-up because it's hard to be back by 3:30 otherwise you're forced to pick up the next day.

That said, I would gladly pay an extra fee for a later pickup around 7pm or so because getting home from anywhere in the bay area and beyond takes times, but could also become an additional revenue stream for the facility since people are there anyway.”

“I recently moved to the area and needed a new vet for my senior lab. My neighbor recommended Dr. T at Aptos Creekside because she specializes in older pets. I was excited to hear she was taking new patients and we got our appointment in less than a week! The front desk staff was helpful and friendly and the doctor was thorough, knowledgeable and a good listener. She answered all my questions and gave some good practical advice. Im excited to have a local vet who will help me give the best care to my old guy!”

“Dr. Kuty is not just a vet. She's an angel. When our little doggie suddenly went into crisis and we knew it was time, Dr. Kuty was able to come out within a couple of hours. She was so kind and patient with us. She talked us through everything. Her sensitivity and empathy were notable...she looked so sad, almost as though she felt the pain right along with us.

Her services didn't stop when our baby had stopped breathing. She patiently waited and let our other dog say goodbye to her. She let us walk out to the car with her, carrying Chica in a little bed. She gave us all hugs.

Later that day, I received a lovely text from Dr. Kuty. The next day, I received a sweet email. And the day after that, she sent a beautiful card in the mail.

Losing a dog is difficult. Dr. Kuty lessened that stress by helping our doggie die in the comfort of her home with her people and her brother around her.

Thank you so much, Dr. Kuty, for helping make Chica's last day as peaceful as possible. We will never forget you.”

Dr Shuman and a tech met us in the parking lot, helped the dog out of the car - though she was a smelly mess - and whisked her to safety, care and health. “Very thankful to have found Exotic Pet Clinic for our rabbits! We first reached out when we found a lump on one of our rabbit's back and another vet closer to us diagnosed it as suspicious and possibly a tumor. We called Exotic Pet Clinic because we wanted to talk to a vet that specializes in rabbits and could perform surgery if needed, and Exotic Pet Clinic was super accommodating. The receptionist took down notes, requested records from our local vet, and their vet reached out to us within a few hours to let us know next steps. We were able to make an appointment quickly after to get a diagnostic with Dr. Deng, who was super nice and patient with our questions. Made the whole situation much less stressful for us after we talked to her. We scheduled a surgery to remove the lump with Dr. Stern for the week after. The day of the surgery, Dr. Stern kept us updated via text, and the clinic staff checked in on us the following days via text. We really appreciated how caring, helpful, and responsive everyone at the clinic was, from the vets to the staff!”

I would recommend this place because they are very thorough and knowledgeable. They are kinda expensive is the only reason they didn't get 5 stars. “I absolutely LOVE Del Mar Pet Hospital!My dog is so excited to go every time he whines with excitement when we get down the street. My cat even falls asleep on the exam table when she's there.The staff and Drs are so friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and work with you on pricing.They are the most fair priced vet I've been to in SC county, and I've been to a lot.I'm talking $100 cheaper for a frequent shot I have to get my pup. I've been fleeced before coming here.The waiting room is inviting and clean. They even offer free teas and coffee while you wait!Ordering prescriptions is an absolute breeze and at super reasonable prices as well.I only had to wait 10 minutes for blood work to come back! I've never experienced that at a vet anywhere in this town before. You can get your results for basic panels while you're still there!They accept CARE credit and most pet insurance too.I'm very sad I only recently discovered them before I'm moving out of state.Do yourself a favor and start taking your pet to Del Mar Pet Hospital ASAP!”
