This is an AMAZING healthcare and dental group. My elderly dad is low-income and needs extensive dental work. I messaged this facility one evening in hopes of getting help and Dr. Liu called me the very next morning to ask what we needed in detail and make sure that we got the help we need. They have taken excellent care of my dad and they have gone above and beyond to help us with our unique family situation. I cannot recommend them enough. What an amazing organization and staff!!!!!

MISS THE OLD STAFF SO MUCH (HEIDI AND A DR THAT USED TO BE THERE) BUT THEY STILL MAKE ME FEEL AT HOME. Prior to getting my braces, in 2015 I needed some work done in order to put on my braces. Tzu chi was referred to me by a friend, and I just loved them since that day! They did all the prep my mouth, and the staff was just my absolute favorite. With my insurance, it was going to cost at least 800-1000 dollars, WITH insurance. I did everything with them, and it was literally a fraction of the cost. Fast forward to 2022, I randomly called and prayed they were still here- all new staff, but they're still here and going!!! I got my cleaning, and took a rapid Covid test all in 25 mins. The dr that cleaned my teeth was an older woman, who is just so nice!!! Not to mention- Wise, polite, and truly cares about your health. She left my teeth so clean and perfect! I cannot thank this place enough. I will be back in 6 months for my next cleaning, and I urge anyone who wants to save, because I know these things can really get up there in pricing (they also take insurance as well!) I didn't pay 1 cent for my cleaning, but if I had to and my insurance didn't cover it, I love knowing that here I could not only afford it, but it would be worth every cent. They have a patient in me, for life. Thank you for taking care of me since 2015, tzu chi!

As a longtime Tzu Chi follower and donated numerous times to their organization, I am disappointed when I needed their help. I got a back injury lifting a patient as a registered nurse and they are unable to provide medical service even with PPO insurance. And when asked if they are willing to accept cash, they said they don't take new patients.

The girl answering calls for insurance seemed hateful for people that have insurance. She said the only insurance they accept is medi-cal or patients they see is with no insurance. I believe it is misleading. She seems to favor her own ethnicity and hate Asians.

9/30/2021 Thursday/4:30pm. I received a couple unanswered calls from the health center, so that I was wondering if the nurse made a phone call to me regarding my health concern., I replied it. But the receptionist who answered my phone call has none of responsibility for patients just said, "they will call you back some days." It is very disappointing.

I see both Dr. Denq in Alhambra and Dr. Cheung at S. El Monte. Both are attentive and caring. They answered my questions with patience and have great bedside matters. The staff are efficient and polite. The clinics also offers dental, acupuncture, pediatrics and now optometry. It's a one stop clinic that I can get almost everything related to healthcare needs done! I definitely recommend Tzu Chi Health center to my friends and family!!

Definitely is a clean facility with Knowledgeable Doctors. They can speak both English & Mandarin..no worries.

Professional and compassionate dentists and acupuncture doctors in South El Monte. Tzu Chi Medical's dental clinic is clean. Their dentists provide the best cleaning, exams, fillings and extraction services. Their acupuncture service is excellent and really inexpensive - my friend had some lingering back problems for over a year and their acupuncture doctor fixed it in a couple of visits! This health center has a medical clinic; Dr. Lam is compassionate and a totally incredible primary care physician. We got our COVID vaccines from here I believe they accept Medi-cal, Medicare, and Covered California!!

Acupuncturists are really nice. I do not even feel it when they insert the needles. Dentists are very gentle. I highly recommend this health center.

I have been coming to here fixing my teeth for years. They assigned Dr Wan perform my teeth annual exam and advised me redo my dental crown. My old dentist at Arcadia did a very poor job and it starts decay. Dr Wan gave me full details on my tooth and I decided to root canal. I had never felt pain during the operation. Dr Wan is very nice person and he always making sure the anesthesia kick in every visits during the treatment. Those nurses are also very polite and nice to patients.

The first time I made an appointment at 4:30, I have been waiting for an hour, and it is almost 5:30! I went to ask the staff and she told me that the doctors were busy and not available because I had something to do at 6 o'clock and had to cancel it! I made another appointment at 3:30 this time, and I arrived at 3:15. I told them I had an appointment and let me sit there and wait! Then the staff has been talking about work-related or irrelevant things! I've been sitting there waiting until 4 o'clock! The front desk was empty and nowhere to ask for my appointment! I can only go home first!

Normally it's a good experience until I was seen my Dr. Liu from Alhambra clinic. She was horrifying. She really did lack empathy in the short two minutes she gave me. Unreal.

Healing was excellent, simply amazing, they should be very proud. My condition was gone in a couple of weeks. Price was great, they are not some big corporation raking in the dough Service and all was decent and nice Parking is very easy, quite on a Saturday, though El Monte gets weekday traffic, plan accordingly. Bathroom and water dispenser available
