“I had to pretty decent crack on my phone and wanted to replace my screen for my iPhone15. I was looking for reputable phone repair shops around the SGV area and came across this shop. I called around noon to ask for pricing and availability($140 for near OEM screen). The owner was very quick to pick up the phone and also texted the address just in case. Went in around 12:30 pm and he finished at 12:45 pm. He also added a free glass screen protector on top. I’d say it’s worth the price and I definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to repair their screens!”

“Ernesto is a gem of a technician and we're lucky to have him here in LA. I bought a CRT TV at the thrift store and it had a red tint color issue so I brought it to him. He cleaned out all of the dust and dirt buildup and recalibrated the picture to perfection. It was a quick turnaround and he charged me a fair price. Highly recommend his service!”

“I highly recommend Desert Island Games as your go to retro game and repair store for all your gaming and accessory needs! Even if it’s a small and compact store it’s the center of all things nostalgia and wonder. You can always find what you want and still come out of that store happy. The store owner Adolfo is always on top of his gaming knowledge, research and math skills and knows his business very well and have no issues negotiating a deal if he needs help researching a particular product for me. I’ve shown up to this store acouple of times mainly for retro collecting or Skylanders figures and they’d always treated me right and always had what I was anticipating for but even if they didn’t have what I was looking for I still got similar recommendations that I knew I’d be satisfied with! I want the community to be informative and utilize and support this local business because physical media and retro collecting and repairs is skyrocketing right now and this is the best time to shop, I highly recommend it!! Thank you Adolfo and Cristian! - Isaiah”

“After a disappointing encounter with the "genius" bar at Apple, where they told me my computer was "obsolete" and they could not be bothered to replace the failing battery, I found Reboot. Thoughtful, competent, prompt and reasonably priced service when you need it. A great place for laptop and phone repair.”

“I recently had an automotive battery fail less than two months before its warranty expiration. I returned the battery to the BatteriesPlus Brea store and was told they would need to verify that the failure was in the battery itself, rather than the vehicle's charging system - this necessitated placing the battery on their charging and conditioning equipment. Rather than leaving me high and dry for a couple days, they were able to provide a loaner battery while my original battery was being evaluated. Turns out the original battery was indeed bad and they replaced it with a new battery as soon as they were able to confirm. The loaner battery was the above-and-beyond that really stood out for me as great customer service. BatteriesPlus stores are local, they carry some of the most reliable and efficient battery brands, and as I've related above, they stand behind their warranties. Over the years, I've visited various locations and their staff has been consistently competent and knowledgeable. You can find some of the batteries they carry cheaper elsewhere, but for convenience, reliability, and warranty coverage, BatteriesPlus is second to none.”

“First time here. My microwave started making all kinds of noises. This place is a certified Panasonic repair center. Unfortunately I didn't save my receipt. Might have been under warranty but no receipt no warranty. $29 estimate to look at it and that amount is applied to repair. Couple hours later he called and said it was fixed. Total repair was $80. Definitely think this was a good deal in today's world where everything cost so much. Recommend using this place if u need any of your electronics repaired. Owner has been there for decades. But everyone now days just go buy new appliances when they have a problem so shops like this won't be around without support.”

“I was convinced I needed a new charging port, seeing as I had tried to clean mine previously and it had no effect. But the guy here cleaned my phone's charging port for free and fixed the problem in about five minutes or less. I was beyond happy. He wasn't going to charge me but I had to tip him for fixing my phone. If I ever need a screen repair or a battery replacement this will be my first stop. Great shop!”

“This shop did a quick and reasonably priced Macbook battery replacement when Apple and MelroseMac could not. My model is older but by no means am I buying a new laptop in this economy if mine still works. The parts aren't original Apple but work well 3 months after replacement. They have a good warranty too. Would come back if I had another repair and it was out of the factory warranty window. I trust their work and that's important in 2026.”
