I've been taking my dog there for a year now and they've been friendly and caring. We will continue to go there.

Unable to make a simple appointment. They have a procedure where you have to stop by in the morning, sign a list to see the vet, then they call you to come back. This is ridiculous. Takes the whole day and we need to work to pay the vet bill. We are changing vets immediately.

I had a great experience here, even though they were almost about to close they still allowed my dog to get examined , my Pebbles had a bad eye infection in both eyes and the Dr. and assistant took real good care of him , I noticed his eyes were much better immediately, his infection was literally gone within a couple of days.

Thank you for taking care of my Lucy , she's 1 year old Maltese n very energetic. She swallowed a piece of plastic n started gagging, I put my finger in her mouth and couldn't find it . We rush to ER in Cerritos, eight hours later n waiting for some results of X-rays , and didn't do anything but give her some liquid to drink. The next morning We took her to Hollydale vet and they were sensitive to my feelings n gave her antibiotics and pain medication that made her comfortable. After 1 week later ,she pooped it out . She's back to normal. Thank you for caring n making her feel comfortable during this scary time.

Normally very hesitant to write a negative review unless needed . This place is beyond abusive to people and animals. What is beyond my imagination is how they have no designated waiting area in a first come first serve basis. If you will not allow people to be in a comfortable area waiting don't conduct business the way you do . During this heat wave my mom and I took her dog and left us waiting in the sun for hours . The clinic itself it's air conditioned and they don't allow people to wait inside during this 100 degrees plus weather . Have a little heart for the people trusting you with their pets , pets and people are IMPORTANT and deserve RESPECT. Would you have your staff working in dire conditions ? NO .. Then DONT DO THIS TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! Require masks, sanitize, or do whatever you got to do. I was heart broken in disbelief that VETERINARIANS would conduct business in such a insidious way . As we were outside hyperventilating and trying to keep the dog cool going back and forth to the car , we started talking to a couple of people there . One lady in particular told us about one of her dogs passing away shortly after have visited this place , the lady believes her pet might of passed away from being in the sun and maybe dehydration. Such a awful and shocking revelation as my mom and I had already noticed how hot it's been . I told my mom to NEVER return and to spread the word about HOW AWFUL this people are . Would you trust your pet's health in hands of people like this ... I WOULD NOT !!!!

I'll start out by saying that the attention provided by this place is abysmal. I accompanied my father in bringing two if our loyal dogs here with the expectation of a having them looked at during a set appointment time we were told would be available. We arrived ten minutes early, waiting in their very cramped parking area large enough for maybe ten cars parked at odd angles around each other. For over an hour we waited to bring our dogs in for their set appointment. We were made to wait outside in the heat and dust next to a very active road with the other pet owners, because only pets and staff were allowed inside. When the staff finally spoke with us, they told us the doctor would not see our dogs. This was something they could have told us well in advanced instead of making us drive to their facility or wait outside for an hour. Equally as infuriating was the excuse, "we don't have the equipment." They hadn't even seen our dogs to know if they needed specialized equipment.. The doctor simply had a nurse pass along the decree that he would not see our dogs. It took some rather strong words on my father's side to convince the doctor that our dogs needed treatment and that they're poor handling of the situation was not only inexcusable, but outright unfair and practically an insult to our patience. If you like standing in the sun, heat, dust, and noise of a road going through the industrial area of South Gate and with the risk of being told to leave without your pet receiving the care it needs, by all means stop on by. Otherwise, it would be best to find another place that actually values professionalism and its clientele. I'm only putting one star as a rating because I cannot rate this place as 0 out of 0 stars. Save yourself time, money, and aggravation. Find another more reliable place.

Best office staff. You can tell these people are animal lovers. I feel my dog is in good hands with the staff here. Have been taking my German shepherd dog here since she was a puppy. Always a good experience.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE. If your dog was vaccinated at Hollydale for parvo and other vaccines between January of 2020 to September of 2021. Check the manufacturer and call them ASAP. They will let you know if they were expired or not. I am writing this because Jasmine A. and Edwardo Cornelia vaccinated my dog with expired shots. These shots were 6 months expired and a month expired. 7 months later from being fully injected with expired vaccines from late February - early March of 2020 leading to September 19th of 2021 Ollie passed away from parvo. We have not been able to mourn our fur baby because our Siberian husky Morrissey was also infected by Parvo the following Tuesday that Ollie passed, all because they couldn't do their jobs right. What is so frustrating is that this could've been avoided from the beginning. What Hollydale Vet Hospital did is unacceptable especially the fact that they have been trying to put the blame on us lol. Also note to Edwardo, I hope you call the manufacturers and explain to them why you have expired vaccines and why you injected them in the first place. As for Jasmine A. you need to check your attitude and you need to double check your work, if you can't do either than you should move on to another profession that better suits you. You both should lose your vet licenses and the business. Only if I can give you 0 stars. It's just beginning. You owe us.

I have been coming here with my pets for approximately 17 years. First with my dogs then with my cats. Both of the doctors that work here are fantastic with my babies and very knowledgeable. The staff is also A+ as well. I have referred them to a couple friends who now bring their fur babies here too and we are all happy. Highly recommend.

They literally saved my my puppy from Parvo. I didn't think it was possible. Luckily I caught the symptoms early. I called as soon as they opened, the staff told me the possible illnesses he might have & to bring him in immediately. Even though there was a good deal of people outside they rushed me in immediately. I waited for about 10 - 15 mins for the Vetinarian's prognosis. They broke me the news delicately and gave me 2 options and the probability of survival. Straight to the point but with care. The whole staff was incredibly helpful and caring. Even though I did get emotional they all treated me with decency and empathy. They sent him home with me every night after his IV drip and hand feeding. Finally after 3 days I was able to care for him at home, they gave me tons of food, Pet-A-Lyte, medicine and even wrote directions on how to apply it and when. The doctor even called me days after to check on his well being. Hands down the BEST veterinary service I have ever experienced. I will be bringing him back for every check up and just so they can see how he's grown. I am truly great full that they saved his life and gave him a chance to have the best life a puppy can have. Thanks again to all the staff, you are truly life savers. This is Plato the Standard Schnauzer pup when he started feeling better and him now still growing and chewing on everything

Very professional, super expensive and they take your pet away for hours. They do not let you go in with them either. If you have money to spend I totally recommend this place. They will totally hook up your pet.
