Worst bank ever. Not one time have I been in there and everything was smooth. Multiple tellers working on problems. One doing nothing, very much could help as I stand here listening to everyone complaining

How can this national/international bank be short on staff for years? Running the same "higher than expected call volume" for literally years, but making record profits over and over. The most useless bank i've ever used, transferring my money out after they cancelled my personal card, instead of re-issuing a business card, and then wasting 45 minutes of my time setting up a new PIN. Unbelievable.

I once laid eyes on my first bear in this parking lot. He attacked me and the bank security saved me from death. Immediately after the teller Chris came out and made sure everything was all right,. Great Staff overall. I couldn't be more impressed.

The fact that the Google page still says bank of the west says a lot about the attention to details by leader ship. We walked into open to brand new accounts today, and there is no banker available to open the accounts. How much money does this bank spend on marketing to get people in the door for new accounts?

5 different "helpful" employees of Bank of the West - including Chris on the management team over 5 half-hour plus phone calls over 2+ months have promised to solve an issue with my debit card. I give up. I'm now on hold for over 25 minutes. I'm done with traditional banking.

My motherly called several times to have a banker assist her with a simple travel notification because it was not working online. She called several times and was on hold for extended periods of time and then finally when she called back she was hung up on more than once. I called for her and experienced the same thing. Extremely disappointing after banking with them for 20 years we have NEVER been treated this way. The customer service is non existent today. They don't if ask if you are willing to hold, they just say hold and put you on hold. Extremely rude and unprofessional. We are very disappointed and my mom is in another state unable to use her card.

This review is for Bank of the West company, not the individuals who work at the branch. Terrible customer service - the tellers are totally embarrassed because of the corporate customer service and they suffer because of it. 1 -2 hour waits on the phone before they disconnect you is unacceptable. when i go to the branch, they tell me that they also have to wait on the same phone lines for hours and they have no answers how to fix problems with your account. Do NOT do business with Bank of the West - they are the worst IMHO.

Business accounts are a nightmare. Holding online for technical support forever. Then you must go to the branch for support. El Dorado Savings is a much better option for local SLT banking, IMHO.

The bankers at this branch store could not get my deposit box open so they made me drive back home to get my spare key which allegedly did not work either. Upon getting their manager they learned that both of my keys do work and the bankers did not have the right key. Sent me running around town for nothing.Online banking through the mobile app has been non functional for weeks.Debit card services, activation process and customer service reps have been irritating to say the least.I hate to say it, I really do, but Wells Fargo is less of a headache to bank with despite how they charge ypu for many small transactions.

We had great service today at this branch. We had to change around some paperwork attached to our account and all of the service came with a smile. We even had cookies and coffees provided as refreshments as we waited in line. This was a nice added touch

The only reason I'm giving this place one staris because I have to. This is the absolute worst and slowest bank South lake Tahoe has to offer. There is never more than two tellers working even though they have enough spots for at least six they will take a break and go in the back and laugh even though they have a line going out the door. It's almost Christmas people are getting their bonuses and are having to wait at least an hour in line to cash them if not we have to put it in the ATM and we don't get our money until Tuesday. This place is a joke and I will never bank here again. Switching the Wells Fargo as soon as possible thank you bank of the west for being the absolute worst bank there is

I have banked here for years. Never really had any issues. They seem to only have two tellers, even on Friday afternoon when the know it will be busy. With the new hour that the bank is open it is a pain to cash a check.
