Holiday market is the best! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The produce is fresh and sometimes it is locally grown. I have shopped at several different ones when traveling and they all are nice. The delis are great! The take-and-bake pizza from the deli is fantastic so skip the frozen aisle for your pizza. They have healthy food items and organic as well as some plant-based stuff as well. All of the Holiday markets are kept super clean.

This is a very nice market in Meyers in SLT that can fulfill all of your grocery needs. Is it as big as Raley's at the Y? No, but it is big enough that it carries all the items you might want and need.

Kate, head checker, is horrible! She is rude and throws groceries around like, thanks for the broken eggs and crushed chips, everyone in line was raised eyebrows, looking at her in disbelief!

Amazing store. They have all the best stuff and great prices. Found out it’s employee owned and they have a clear vision, which explains why it’s so great.

If you find yourself in the South Lake Tahoe area and need some groceries or snacks for the road, check out the Holiday Market. It is on Highway 50. On a recent early Saturday morning, my road trip companions stopped here to use the loo and grab some snacks. Perfect stop for both. I have never been here before. So as I walked in, my first impression was that the interior aesthetics was modern and bright. No gloomy outdated vibe here. The next thing I noticed was the compact size of the market. They do not have a bakery, butcher counter, or deli counter. But they do have those sections with prepackaged goods. I walked around the entire place. The prices were on par. The market had everything that a full size grocery store has but with less inventory. The staff was all so helpful, providing top notch service. The produce section and alcohol section was quite impressive for the square footage. The produce looked fresh and gorgeous. The alcohol section is your one stop shop for wines, beers, and spirit. They have a huge variety with various brands. Near the exit is an art mural. I luved it. A nod to the artist for the quirkiness. It reminds me of a quote" I want to believe" from the X Files. Also another great thing about the market is that it is 100% employee owned. Holiday Market is a Northern California chain of grocery stores. The first shop opened up, in 1962, in the town of Cottonwood, CA. Now they have about 15 locations as far north as Klamath Falls, Oregon, down scattered south to Placerville, CA. All the locations are concentrated in small towns.

Please just get your prices to match your in store signage. I am a Tahoe local and shop here for convenience. Every time I shop at Holiday Market I overpay for an item or two or three that is mis-marked. Once it was $20 of overcharges. Thankfully I noticed when I got home. Tonight, it happened again and the employee acted clueless again. The market would be amazing if they could get this right.

I've been coming here for years and have always had a great experience here. Good selection and surprisingly good prices. Best spot to stock up in south Tahoe.

Cute little market right next to where we went rubbing. The market had everything we needed from wine (of course for mommy) to toothpaste and snacks for the tittle one.

It's a small employee owned grocery store. It has a variety of items and products available, just not in large quantities. Clean and well kept and I'm sure usually stocked shelves, but we were there the day before Thanksgiving. Still, we were able to get what we needed. A nice alternative to finding a Safeway or Ralph's, etc. and drive an additional 20 or more minutes.

Some of the most friendly staff in town, great selection of quality food, great prices, clean, employee owned, and always well-stocked. What more could you ask for? Not just a place to grab a few things, but a great place to shop for everything you need. I am happy to support this Holiday market, genuinely.
