I just called Langenfeld 9/28/23 because I haven't heard back from them within the two week timeline they gave me about two weeks ago to get my snow blower repaired before winter. The lady laughed at me and said "whoever told you that is out to lunch. I see you on the list. We won't get you in until after thanksgiving at the earliest." Stay diligent if you use this business and know you may get laughed at.

I needed a one time use Sawzall and the options seemed extremely expensive until a lady who was very helpful showed me an option that was $200.00 less expensive of an option. That was great! 5 stars to the self-proclaimed, "Paint Queen" aka, "The Baker", for her help on this tool purchase.

They show items on their website as in stock, but when you go to purchase at the store they advise the item has been out of stock for months. A big time waster….

I've been shopping at this store for many years, always bringing my snowblowers in for service or repair. Today, I tried to have my pressure washer serviced and Mike, the actual mechanic, was very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, a woman by the name of Amber is apparently in charge of the service department. Keeping this review somewhat nice, let's just say she was less than helpful, refusing to take my (or any other, apparently) pressure washer in, saying parts are too difficult to find. I needed a tune up and oil change... I'm guessing they could have found a spark plug and a quart of oil for the minimum $110/hour charge but it appears they no longer need my business. I'm on the hunt for a new small engine repair place close by and DIY for hardware.

I shop at Langenford's Ace for many odds and ends. This is a shop that truly cares about good products we need here in Tahoe, including snowblower parts, small engine knowledge , especially winter. I always get a warm greeting, but best of all exceptional help when I need it. Saturday, I had the great experience of needing help on a p-trap connection. Mike saw my photo, and immediately recognized solution. --Fixed with right parts. Ace is my DIY source locally. Thanks Mike! Sven

I want to thank Blaze for his help today. I'm traveling on my motorcycle from Arizona, heading to BC. Yesterday my kickstand became inoperable as one boot had rattled loose, and another bolt was missing. Blaze not only got me the correct bolts and wrenches but got down on the driveway with my greasy bike and fixed the issue! Talk about extraordinary customer service! So grateful!

I bought a Weber BBQ from Langenfeld Ace on Thursday, 6/15/23. It was assembled and delivered by the next day at no additional cost to me. The Ace in Heavenly would assemble but would not deliver (just FYI). Mike and Jean Paul were very helpful, friendly and efficient. I will definitely shop there in the future!

The worst service of any Ace Hardware I've been to. I'm a licensed general contractor for 20 years and have never been treated so rudely as this store and will never return again. Certainly not your helpful hardware store as your slogan states.

A real hardware store where the staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Improvement from Scottys inventory-wise, with the same amazing staff. I make a point of not going anywhere else. Also, the parts shop is a godsend and has saved snowblowers and machines across the entire community when it matters most
