I called inquiring about some items for a friend of mine in town. I was greeted by a very helpful person by the name of LeAnn. She was kind, thoughtful and very helpful. There was a lot of activity going on in the background, however she stayed focused and informative. Super Job LeAnn keep up the great customer service.

we had to get a new door (had to be specific for our mobile home) and they were very helpful and delivered a perfect door. they even refunded some of the cost for some custom work that wasn't needed. Thanks!

We are renovating our home in SLT and unfortunately often need to use Meek's services. So far every experience has been painful. The employees don't seem like they know what they're doing and are extremely rude. Buying lumber from their yard is the most confusing and messed up process, and they don't know their own inventory or pricing. We recently purchased a very expensive order of lumber that was to be delivered to our house, they rescheduled twice on the delivery, at one point said they had no record of our order when we had the receipt in hand, and then it got delivered to the wrong house! Today my father went in to buy some fence hardware and asked where it was; the guy (with the handlebar mustache) says "we're out." My dad responds, "Every time I come in here for something you're out." This employee stood up and literally yelled at my father! Went off about how he doesn't like people disrespecting the store he works at, and that he refuses help him, and stormed off. My dad then reported his weird behavior to a woman up front, who just said, "oh yeah we deal with that every day." It is unbelievable to me that a business would allow employees to talk to their customers like that. The "we're out" answer to so many items we go in for really seems like a lazy excuse for the employees not wanting to find something. Having a lumber store in town is a convenience we do appreciate, but their customer service really needs some work.

Went into Meek's South Lake Tahoe location to get a key made today. Didn't see the key making machine and asked the guy at the paint counter if they make keys. He extremely loud and rudely responds to go to the front of the store and "l don't know why anybody would ask the paint guy about making keys." This was said in front of other customers. So we walk up front and ask the guy at the cash register, who has multiple people waiting in line, if they have somebody that can make me a key. He tells me he is too busy and to ask the guy at the paint counter! Completely condescending employee and absolutely no customer service. A customer in line said to go to Ace Hardware near the "Y" which we did and they were great!

I needed paint matching for interior paint, exterior paint, and deck finish. I worked with Patrick Jarret. He was very helpful, insightful, and willing to answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend working with Patrick for any and all of your paint needs.

Bob Yale gave me great service at Meek's when I was asking about LED bulbs for our chandelier that is on a dimmer and also for the water heater problem (the pilot keeps going out) -we discussed the various possibilities and he helped me really to figure out what I needed to do -it was excellent. He was very interested in helping me find out find out what the problem really was and what products may help.

I just called to ask a question and the lady answered the phone and said "Meeks you're going to have to hold", then put me on hold without saying anything and I understand sometimes you're busy and you have to do that but then I was on hold so long it rang again and she seemed pi**ed off that she had to tell me again. She mumbled a little bit and said again that I was "going to have to hold" like I purposely interrupted her. I didn't call back it just rang again because I was on hold for so long. I understand people are shorthanded and they're busy but don't take it out on me. So now I will go to DIY

When I go to meeks I always go to Nick Boyd at the pro deck he is so helpful and as a women it makes going into a hardware store and pleasure for any project we are doing at our house here is the start of my new shed

Francis helped to match some old exterior paint from our home's previous owners so we could paint our chimney. The match is spot on and he was professional and down to earth through the whole process. Highly recommend Francis and his team at Meeks.
