There was a spill of chocolate syrup inan aisle which was announced requesting cleanup just after we got there and no had cleaned it up inthe 45 minutes we were there plus 2 employees almost ran me downwithout apologyIt is a clean store with lots of offerings but the lack of kind employees were enough to turn me off.

I see by the terrible reviews this place is subpar. That means the employees could care less which in my case, holds true. When any employee of any business tells a customer, "it's not my job" means the managment has no idea HOW TO MANAGE. Since most reviews are bad, I would think corporate should know how their store is being managed or, unmanaged.

been shopping at this Safeway since 1993, maybe little later as they built this new store, your asst manager has a major customer service problem. you should check your internet/wifi if you are going to have specials that need this and if your customer can't download it in your store and he needs to go to cs desk to have it refunded there needs to be no problem! She actually asked to see our phone to see if we had the app!!!!! Really!!!! so annoying since for (with the acceptation of 2022) we had to go back to get a refund on over charged items once a week! and then to question us! We get you're over worked and under paid and it's tourist season but---this is your job. also I'll add your fried chicken sucks! don't buy it. too bad kfc closed

Bakery staff were super unhelpful when trying to see if any plain white 1/4 sheet cakes would be available to next evening to pick up. Ended up going to Raleys.

Grocery delivery is terrible. Safeway said they would deliver them between 12-4pm. No texts and they never got here. This is the first time I used their service and now it'll be my last. Very SADCalled the customer service line 5 times. Twice they just hung up the call. The last person said he would get an answer and call me back. Been a half hour and no response.My groceries finally showed up at 7pm. They were scheduled 12-4pm. The guy from door dash said he just received them about half-hour before. Well at least I got them. For Karen my order number was 62642764. Hopefully you can correct the problem. The last person I talked with at customer service was very helpful. So I will try Safeway again and cross my fingers.Sorry it was Dawn.

Well Safeway sucks, on Mar 25 2023, 10 of my rewards points disappeared and it claimed i clicked to use them to save 15 dollars but the problem is they claimed i clicked to use the 10 points for the 15 dollar savings and guess what, it never at least gave me my 15 dollar discount they stole my rewards points they are a rip off. Oh yeah i still had 2 weeks before they expired.

After dinner, I dropped in with my partner for some groceries for breakfast the next morning. Got eggs, bread, orange juice, and champagne for a great price. We entered our rewards number which took off almost $12. The store was surprisingly busy for a Monday night at 8 o'clock however, there were several check stands open with short lines. Our cashier was friendly and chatted with us while speedily checking our items. The store was clean and the shelves were neat and stocked.

This review is based on how the manager or manager at the time treated a loyal customer. We always shop at Safeway when in Tahoe. The food is always fresh here that is never changing, but I have to give Josh this review because he went above and beyond to help us with a matter that should be dove more in detail by corporate. Josh is professional, service oriented, friendly and personable. Our shopping began in Camarillo at the local Albertsons and since 15 + years ago we hadn't had such a great experience as we did tonight. Thank you Josh, we will be back on our next vacation trip.

Older guy at deli was rude af we asked for a breakfast burrito and immediately and rudely refused because they have had them in months he said yet I point to the tv RIGHT ABOVE HIS HEAD his response "oh that doesn't change" and points us off somewhere in the distance for a supposed sign that says they no longer make them won't be TELLING ANYONE TO GO THERE rather I'll tell them to go to any other store and save them the headache

On October 2nd at 6:10pm I went through the self checkout with my wife and the older white gentleman working the self checkout was very racist. We scanned an medication that was out on the shelf and the register said we needed customer service due to it being a restricted item. I had stepped away while we were waiting to go go to Starbucks when I came back the gentleman was accusing my wife of not scanning items and bagging them. When she had the actual item that caused the issue in her hand. When I came back he changed his attitude and went back to helping customers purchase beer through the self checkout.

I ordered groceries for our Tahoe trip for 8/9 at 6 pm. I received a text message at 3:48 pm saying my order was ready for pick up. We arrived a little after 7 pm. We waited in the car for nearly 35 minutes. I attempted calling the number for the pick up orders. All my calls went straight to voicemail. I've never had any issue with pick up at any Safeway. Definitely never using this Safeway again.

Big fan of Safeway since I was a kid. Self-checkout was a breeze and got my discount for my 2 Silk Almond Milks 30 calories vanilla. Very clean inside and all aisles seemed to be well kept. Love Safeway!! In and out within 10 minutes this evening during Memorial Day weekend on Sunday 5/29/22 around 5pm. Thanks and much love!

Came in the evening and only the manager and 2 other staff working. One staff opened up another lane to check a customer out and so I thought he was open, so as I approached his lane, he swatted me to go away (rude), ok your closed, so I went back to the manager lane. Guy in front of me gets flagged over by the staff who just told me to go away bc he's closed and the guy in another lane got checked out...wth?! I felt a little racism there ..then another checker steps in and asked me to come over and as I'm approaching his lane, manager was like "no", so back to the Manager's lane I went for the 2nd time...at this point I'm a little pissed and irritated with the back and forth. So that checker came over to Manager's lane (when he could've just helped me when I walked over) to check me out, rang everything and stares at me and ask if I wanted bags, , yes..and he's like do you want me to bag for you (mind you, everyone else before me got bagged, so I assumed my grocery was gonna be bagged)...I said if I knew I had to bag my own groceries, I would've done so and not hold up the line. A little customer service or communication would've helped. Think I'll try my luck at Raley's, Whole Foods, or even Grocery Outlet next time I need groceries. Do better Safeway....
