Walter came by today for a quick diagnosis of why our garage door wasnt closing. Found and solved the problem . Didnt charge us the full rate but we had to give him some amount for the effort. Good man. Very professional. I would highly recommend Walter and A&H Doors for your Garage doors , gate problems and replacement. Two thumbs up and solid 5 stars rating.

I've used A&H quite a few times and they delivered every time. The panic bar door at my business has always been problematic and they fixed it. Anthony and Walter are very nice, professional, knowledgeable, and always delivers. They always answer the phone. This is a very good indicator that a business is run well and will deliver. When I call a business and I have to leave a message, I will simply move on. Walter has been by go to guy for years and has never disappointed me. I recently met Anthony and he is just as good as Walter. Highly recommend A&H Doors.

We've used A&H in the past to repair our garage door (years ago). They were very responsive at the time. Gave them 5 star review. But what happened. We were having issues again so we called; they took our # and address down. But, they never called back or showed up. Glad I found another business who was very professional and punctual.

Walter just stopped by for a quick complimentary estimate as he was around the neighborhood when we first spoke this morning around 10:30am. He came around 11:30am and ran diagnostics and figured it out so fast! I almost feel stupid for not trying to hold the button myself and trying it :( but thanks to Walter, I can be at peace from strangers coming through my garage when it wasn't closing properly.Highly recommend just based on our quick interaction. He was helpful, had recommendations, and gave me an estimate on the costs for replacing the motor, sensors, and chain (if desired). Super friendly and quick! Definitely doesn't hurt to give him a ring for an estimate. They also do emergencies!

Walter is straight up a man of integrity and professionalism! He is the doctor of garage doors!!! On a holiday weekend, my wife and I called him in a panic with a jammed garage door and although we figured he may not call back until the next business day, next thing we know, he's at our door, checking out the problem!! What a good neighbor!! Better than State Farm! We previously had him replace our garage motor about a year or two ago and he did an amazing job! Super quick, fair price, explained everything that was done. Highly recommend his services! Thank you, Walter!

We had a great experience working with Walter. He came to our business and fixed our front door problem. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend Walter for any job you have. Walter is great. Communicating with him was easy and he showed up on time. He helped me troubleshoot my DoorBird entry gate system. After a quick diagnostic he identified and fixed the problem in less than an hour. In addition to being efficient, he was very pleasant to work with. Prior to hiring A&H I called several other companies and they were either difficult to communicate with either not understanding my situation (despite my very clear communication) or over complicating the work that needed to be done. Save yourself the headache and go with A&H.

They put in a LiftMaster 8550WL. It's very quiet and the belt makes very little noise. I've had no problems with my new garage door opener.

What happened? This was my go to company for garage doors and problems. In the past 2 weeks I have spoken with Walter, texted, emailed asking for another estimate but I don't get a response. He must be a super busy man, but jeez with today's abundance of ways of communicating with a customer, 1-2 minutes of your time is not much to ask. The work is awesome when you can get it, but communication is lacking big time lately. UPDATE: as of 11/3/2020. FOUND a new go to company for all my garage door needs. So long A&H Door and Access Control!

It's STILL 5 Stars for us. I say that because this is the 3rd time since 2012 that we've had Walter (the owner) completely save us when our garage door needed an immediate repair. Just like the previous times, A&H's response time and speed of our repair was jaw dropping. Bad enough the cable on our garage door broke, leaving us unable to get in or out ~ but it was also late on a Tuesday afternoon right in the middle of the whole shelter-in-place shutdown. We literally made the one call to Walter, who responded immediately. But, instead of Walter, Anthony showed up ~ turns out to be Walter's son-in-law. He was on the scene and taking charge of the repair within the hour. Anthony immediately diagnosed the problem, got to work and fixed the repair without missing a beat. This young man was polite, poised, professional, friendly and clearly knew his stuff. What a refreshing experience. These guys are staying our "keeper file" for future work on anything having to do with our garage door ~ You just never know when something you just don't think about becomes something you can't do without. Can't recommend them enough. 5 Stars! And, ask for Anthony ~ Great guy.

While we have used A&H in the past to replace a broken garage door spring, today they tried to scam us into buying a new garage door motor when the button inside our garage that opens our garage door stopped working, but the keypad outside was working just fine. I became suspicious when my husband told me they wanted $750 to replace the motor because it doesn't make sense that one switch would work and the other would not. Common sense troubleshooting tells you that there is a problem with the switch, not the whole f'ing motor. Sure, if the electronics that operate the switch on the motor are broken, that makes sense. But the whole thing was fishy to me which prompted my husband to do 5 minutes of googling to discover that it was just a broken switch. They had actually disconnected the switch electronics from the motor when they hooked up their own switch to show us that it didn't work. Straight up deception unless they are completely incompetent. We were able to fix it on our own with a $2 part. It's hard for me to write this review because we had a good experience with them before. It's not cool to scam your repeat customers, or even new ones for that matter. I will never call them again.

Walter did an amazing job. Right off the bat he asked for pictures of the problem so that had came prepared for the repair. He was able to come the dame day which made it even better! thanks!
