One of the few times that the word “excellent” can be used for a business. Management is very responsive and direct to coordinating logistics and answering any questions - major thanks to Calvin and team. Pickup and drop off were as smooth as promoted with a crew of two, and the guys were always very careful and thoughtful in how they handled your stuff and not damaging your apartment. Absolutely give them a shot if you need a storage option or moving in general, you will be very pleased.

Awesome Storage Solution that will pick up items and drop off as you need them. They itemize and photograph all inventory. Lower-than-expected rates and the convenience factor cannot be matched by other self storage solutions. Really helpful staff and I'm so thank full they provided a solution when living in a space-constrained apartment in FS.

I found you when I googled storage for college students in San Francisco.
You were a life saver. My granddaughter is at SFSU and had to move out of dorms for summer. I didn't want to drive from San Diego to bring home and then back My other option we move her out store in SF then come back move her in .
THEN I FOUND BOOM BOX THEY MOVED HER OUT STORED HER BELONGINGS FOR THE SUMMER. THEY DELIVERED TO HER NEW LOCATION ON CAMPUS TO START HER FALL SEMESTER .
MIGHT I ADD FOR HALF OF WHAT GETTING STORAGE AND MAN POWER AND TRAVEL .

Loved the service, each step of the way was easy and painless. Most everything in my small studio apartment fit into one storage unit. The guys showed up on time and were fast. Loved the ease of getting separate items from the unit as I needed it.

We had a great experience with Boombox! They arrived promptly to move our furniture into storage and were careful with all of our items. They took care of everything! And when we needed our furniture back, we were able to schedule a full delivery within a couple of days. The crew fully delivered and reassembled our furniture quickly and efficiently. Would definitely use Boombox again!

$3500 worth of furniture went into storage as good as new and came out severely dinged and scratched, with a solid oak drawer handle snapped in half. I paid Boombox over $3000 to keep these and other items safe for me for two years. They offered me $200 as compensation, saying that’s all the insurance provider would give. Calvin acknowledged the damage and said that it was unacceptable and below the level of service they aim to provide, but offered no other compensation or return of money paid to Boombox to keep my items safe, which they failed to do. Bizarrely, Calvin said he would relay my story to his boss so he could learn from it. Calvin is the founder.
The pickup and delivery crew were kind and documented the damage themselves with genuine concern while returning my items. They also told me that the warehousing location had changed, and that my items had been moved while in storage. I was not notified of my stuff being moved. There is no way to know how often they move things around within storage facilities that customers are not permitted to visit.
I would not use this company again. In the future I’ll choose a service with more transparency and control over my belongings while in storage, and with a much better insurance policy and customer service in the event things go wrong. Read their insurance policy. Also be aware that the online catalog of your items is just pictures of your items. It doesn’t show you where they are or how they’re stored.

This is one of the best companies I did business with. They pick up and/or deliver your stuff and you have an inventory of your things via their portal. They are very customer centric and flexible. Highly recommend their service and their pricing is very fair for what they offer.

5 stars all around, seems to good to be true! Boombox picked up my stuff, stored it, and delivered it back completely unscathed two years later. They have an online inventory where you can keep track of everything they have. The same kind guys who picked up were the same guys who delivered two years later, they genuinely praised the company and seemed super satisfied working there. Communication was always seamless. I will definitely use Calvin and his team for any of my future moving and storage needs! They take all of the stress out of moving, and the prices can’t be beat. Thank you so much for being a competent, reliable business!

Highly recommend this service. Movers were very communicative, it was easy to schedule drop off and pick up, movers had a prompt arrival and had all necessary supplies, and it is priced very reasonably. I absolutely will be using it again!
