Beds are sooo comfortable. Front desk gentlemen staff was not so friendly, but the ladies were the day we checked out. Cookies they give are to die for. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and I'm not so confident that they cleaned the next day. I believe the building was remodeled and it's beautiful inside. Only other thing I would complain about is their shower heads were put high up for giants. Which does not go great for the vertically challenged. Water pressure was really weak and I was not able to adjust it. :(

cant believe this place is so terrible. why I chose this hotel is because there's a lot free parking space . But anyhow even it's free parking they charge us $20 per night . I don't get it . Other 5 stars review saying it's free parking here . First day we stayed We already request house keeping and they didn't come to clean. We went to front desk to ask for house keeping . The front desk guy said "oh all the employees are helping the party. And we can't do anything." So we are not customer? At least you should say I'm so sorry for this inconvenience and try to resolve the problem . But no . The customer service is not good . And which hotel doesn't clean room everyday? Even we request. No water. No sleeper. They don't offer anything. Even 2 star hotel is better than this. Room smells. Shower water is weak . Sink broken Please don't come to this hotel unless you have no choice . l've never had this experience before

I have family in SF, and we've been to quite a few of the hotels in south sf by the airport. My family always stayed at the best western when I was a kid, and now I've been trying some other options in the area with my wife & kid. This is by far the best hotel that we've stayed at in the area. Conveniently close to the airport. Right off the freeway. Quite a few options for food of all varieties close to the hotel. There's plenty of free parking, and the hotel lobby and staff are very nice.My wife is very particular about the mattress whenever we stay anywhere, and this is one of her favorites of any hotel we've ever stayed at. Clean, spacious rooms, and we didn't even add any upgrades to our room. There's a big desk, drawers, and a large armoire.Bathroom was nice and spacious, but not much counter space for our toiletries.Lobby had a small shop with essentials, sweets, snacks, limited alcoholic beverages, and even sandwiches. But most of all, we love the warm cookies when we check in :) We'll be back soon!

Room was modern and clean with good amenities. Took the room a little while to cool down but water temperature and pressure were great. Lighting in room is haphazard and a hassle, as in you have to go around clicking on/off lamps in order to see anything (see pics). In room coffee and fridge but no microwave. Was a bit disappointed that they ran out of cookies and food credit for Diamond members is only $15 yet all breakfast (restaurant is the only option) options were more than that. Parking lot smells like a ton of cats have marked their territory. $75 fee for late checkout (after 1pm) and also for early check in. $19 (plus tax) daily self-parking fee.

I have stayed at a Double Tree before but not in my own city.. I walked in the lobby was very clean and smelled great. The front desk person was very friendly. Went to my room and was amazed. The bathroom is updated, room cute, tv hugh, lots of draws, fridge cold and lights everywhere. Oh and did I mention THE COOKIES ARE BACK!!!!

I stayed at the Double Tree South for 3 days and was pleased with the cleanliness of the facility and the ability to stay at the hotel the entire time and have a great dinner. The gym was also convenient and clean.

I have mixed feelings about this double tree as I did think that the service and the amenities as well as rooms were a solid 4 stars for the amount that we paid. However the location is pretty isolated and you have to drive or Uber everywhere. Downtown SF is about 30-45 minutes away depending on traffic. The restaurant inside the hotel wasn't good and I wouldn't recommend it. The restaurants around the area consist of Dennys and Popeyes so this hotel is mostly useful if you want to get to the airport within 15 minutes.

Upon my arrival the service was not good and my questions wasn't answered. I spoke with the manager and she answered one of my questions. But overall was not much help either. Once I was in my room I discovered that the security lock on the door was not there. At this point I was on the phone with customer service. I called the hilton 800 number and spoke with someone. While on the phone with customer service, maintenence came. Once Maintenance came to my door he had no idea what the problem was. There was no proper communication with the staff at this location. The The manager came minutes after maintenence with a new room key and no idea that Maintenance came by. I went to the new room and soon as I opened the door there was a used yellow towel on the floor and the security lock on that door was coming off. After I shower, I turned on the TV and there was no signal. Meaning no TV because it's not working. I called the front desk and luckily it was a easy fix but still very much inconvenient especially since I already been through more then I should have.2nd night I was woken up to a very loud noise at 3am. I tired calling the front desk several times and no answer. Someone knocked on my door a few times during this event but every time I looked out the hole in the door no one was there. In which I now feel unsafe. I finally got through to the front desk and they answered the phone like the whole hotel wasn't just woken up. No explanation of what was going on. I had to ask and there was no concern about my safety at all. He did say that it was not a staff member knocking on my door because it is only 2 staff members working.I have insomnia and once I am woken up it's very rare that I am able to go right back to sleep. In which I was not able to go back to sleep until after 7am. Only to be woken up at 9AM by housekeeping vacuum. One hour after that the loud alarming noises was back for 10 minutes then 45 minutes later another 5 minutes of the same noises. This has been the worst customer service and overall experience at any hotel I've ever stayed at. You can guarantee that I will not ever return to this location again.Safety: The safety locks on the doors where broken off at least 2 rooms that they put me in upon checking in. There was no safety measures pur in place when the fire alarm went off. They only have 2 staff members working. Someone knocked on my door in the middle of the night during the fire alarm and it wasn't a staff member. I tried calling the front desk several times and no answer. They don't have security on site at all.

This used to be a holiday inn. It’s definitely looking better as the doubletree. However, a 24 hour shuttle, even if you have to call would be nice. The Lyft app takes the driver to the back of the hotel. The restaurant closes at 10pm for dinner and closed again at 10:30 AM for breakfast. As an airport hotel it would be great if more things are available outside of regular hours. Coming in from a delayed flight on an airline voucher is already exhausting. The staff is kind and patient, but they are definitely understaffed! Rooms are beautiful. Just too bad the services are not available late at night or mid-day. Normally you can use airline food vouchers at their shop or restaurant. That’s a nice touch!Rooms: Very comfy beds and pillows. High beds. Good shower. No pen or paper in the room. Nice charge stations next to both beds, integrated into nightstand.Walkability: No real walkability. A few miles from the airport (driving). Off the highway. Some fastfood and a gas station.Food & drinks: Restaurant hours are limited for an airport hotel

Unable to use food and beverage credit through Hilton anywhere other than the bar. Staying here due to airport proximity with a very early flight, and a late check in. The last thing I want is a drink right now, and we are departing before breakfast service begins. Easy way for the hotel to avoid honoring the credit.

Great hotel with a gym and a restaurant near SFO. Free airport shuttle. Perfect for travelers arriving late or leaving early from SFO. Parking lot is fine for visitors while picking up guests.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!If you want your day to be ruined by awful rude staff then come here!Even over the phone....I was fighting and being very patient with the front desk to go over certain transactions during my Last stay ?. Time and time again they refuse to input my confirmation number to actually prove I booked there...even after the front admit that I was actually stayed in the hotel...they refuse to apologize for not even trying to input the confirmation number.
