I rarely write reviews, but I need to do it this time to share my amazing experience with Michelle and her team. She and the team truly care for your car as if it were their own, unlike any other franchise that has tried to rip me off a few times. They are honest, genuine, and suggest the best price right from the start. It will have much more trust in this industry if any other places were also like this. I highly recommend their service to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy car maintenance.

Took my car in for an oil change. Even opted for special additives that would clean my engine. Ended up spending more than expected but that was fine. Later I took my car to Midas and they informed me that the drain plug was stripped and that I would need a new oil pan. They showed me how they couldn't get the drain plug out. They told me the last shop over torqued the drain plug and now I would need a replacement. I'm out 800-1200 now. This was the last place that changed my oil. Also had issues with an older car. I was clear about my budget because I was selling the vehicle. They said they can work on the car but after a week they complained that they don't like my vehicle because they're so difficult to work on. There was an issue with smog that they could not fix which defeated the purpose of bringing it in. They had the car for 3 weeks and every week or so the repairs just got more and more expensive. I took back the car after it went over 3x budget and no solution to my problem. I even got charged for the labor at a "discount" for the attempt to fix my smog problem. What a waste of money. But I did have new brakes and a bunch of other stuff replaced. I took my car somewhere else got the problem fixed. No delays. No periodic calls of extra things to fix etc... I gave benefit of the doubt and didn't talk about this experience. But after my attempted recent oil change i think it should be shared. I wouldn't go back here.

Have been to G-F Automotive a couple of times and have been very pleased with the service. Got me taken care of in short order and at a fair price. GF automotive is absolutely the best! Michelle the owner is so nice, fair and honest. I needed brakes and other things done, she kept me fully informed.She is very detail oriented and easy to talk to. I felt really taken care of, being here I feel like a family member. I totally recommend this place to anyone, you will be very pleased!!!

I have been a long time customer I have had multiple cars serviced here from simple jobs to timing belts etc. Not once did I have to go back on the work they did. Sometimes there may have been a time I had to wait for my car an extra day, but they do the job right which matters most. I especially appreciate Michelle, the owner, who will answer my texts day or night, weekday or weekends when I have had car emergencies and she was always responsive and accommodating. I feel their pricing is fair, they apply discounts when available. I signed up with yelp just to give this review because I feel it had to be shared and was long overdue.

I brought my car to GF automotive for a simple oil change. When I returned the price went up due to additives that the manager Michelle decided to add without my permission. Also the oil change suddenly became more complicated when they found numerous other issues. I wasn't sure about their recommendations but they claimed that the previous oil changer had stripped the oil pan screw. I paid for a new part for the oil pan and I paid the additional amount that was added to my bill. But I was not happy and wrote an online complaint. I was contacted by the manager and asked to give them another chance which I did, although things got worse. When I came back to the store to pick up my car after another oil change, Michelle had more additives put in my oil and started to harp on me for not watching the oil level. The bill increased and I complained but she decided to give me a "discount" instead of refunding me in full. Also she wanted to charge me thousands of dollars to replace other parts. My car being old, understandably I wasn't interested in completely rebuilding it. I asked her for the paperwork with the obscene estimate and she went and hid it in the office and wouldn't give it to me. I don't know if some of the work GF Automotive did on my vehicle was necessary but I have learned my lesson. Always ask for the old parts. I will never patronize this shop again because instead of seeing me as a valued customer they saw me as a wallet with legs and attacked it like a pinata.

Michelle is sincerely a wonderful person and she will help you any way that she can take for instance when I hit a pothole and cracked my transmission case and I didn't have the $5,000 it was going to take to fix it she gave me a referral to an agency that she that she's involved with that gives out vouchers for up to $5,000 to pay the necessary repairs on your car I could not believe it !! Usually they make you go out and get three different referrals because my car was inoperative they didn't make me do that so I got approved for $5,000 worth of work on my card for free I can't believe it she's definitely an angel sent from heaven

I love their personalized service. It takes a while for it to get done. In my case I dropped it off at 10 in the morning and got my car back at 6 at night. They have an email service where they send you your car history as well as letting you know when it's time to get a tune up. A plus plus plus plus

At first, I was convinced that Michelle had my best interest with her taking her time to help me look for "good quality" parts for my car. Spent over 30 minutes over the phone when I asked for a quote. She offered to get my car inspected just to be sure that it really needs the parts which I appreciate. It ended up not needing another part that another place recommended. Mine just needs refurbishing. She gave me a qoute of somewhere in the $370s and she told me that she doesn't recommend driving my car since my break pads are worn out. So I decided to leave my car at their place for the weekend since Michelle reassured me that it'll be done Monday morning in time for me to go to work. Monday morning came and I called at 8am since it says they open at 7:30 and I haven't heard back. Noone answered so I left a message asking for an update. After about an hour, I decided to call again since I needed my car to go to work. Michelle's son Matt answered and wasn't really accommodating on the phone. He said that they are working on another car before they can start with mine. I told him what Michelle reassured me and he said that he can't do anything and doesn't know when my car will be done. He told me to call at 10am when Michelle comes in. I asked Matt for the final quote so I know what to expect and he gave me a price in the $400s. I told him that that doesn't sound like what I was told initially and he said that they are charging me more for labor. He told me that my car should be done by noon after putting pressure at hime to give me a time. About 10:30am Michelle calls me and tells me that she made a mistake with the initial quote and that she also made a mistake with telling me that my car will be ready as promised. But she reassured me that it'll be done by 11:30am. I arrived at their shop at 11:30 and my car was still not finished. I was made to wait for 2 more hours in their shop when I was supposed to be at work. It was not done until 1:30pm. I was so frustrated that I just wanted to leave with my car unfixed. There was also a minor thing that I thought needs to be checked. My window was malfunctioning and so I asked if they can check it during the initial consultation. They tried to check it and fix it but they couldn't figure it out so I told them to just leave it be since I am late for work. And then in the end Michelle had the audacity to charge me for the windows saying that they spent an hour looking at the window but will only charge me half an hour. Mind you, the window wasn't fixed. I asked her to remove that from the bill since they did not fix anything. She looked upset when I pointed that out and muttered that she should've just closed shop since they are short of staff. She told me that I can just come back and fix my window next time and she gave me a quote for it. Which I assume will change again after everything's done. I did my assignment and did my research for the pricing of the services I needed. I had $300, $350 and $425 for generic parts with labor and there was $380 genuine parts with labor. I REGRET GOING TO THIS PLACE. DON'T BE FOOLED BY MICHELE'S SWEET STORIES. SHE WILL TRY TO CHARGE YOU LABOR FOR EVERY MINUTE SHE CAN. I do want to commend Dennis the mechanic for being a professional and showed me what's going on with my car. I just don't think I want to go back to this place because of how Michelle broke my trust.

Great and friendly service they made sure my car was up and running and did things to make a customer happy
