Not worth staying here. Spend your money at another hotel.

I come to this Hotel at least once a month because is quiet, clean, and affordable, and the staff is caring and friendly

I've stayed at 2 Larkspur properties in the bay area and I was disappointed both times. But this hotel especially needs renovation desperately. There are worn out funitures, broken AC, TV, stained carpet etc.
And I suspect most of the guests here are homeless on government vouchers

Decent and clean hotel, poor service, horrible bedding, blood stained comforters, lumpy pillows, poorly stocked breakfast.
Room was clean, full stocked kitchen was nice. They were very flexible with our late check-in which we appreciate.
Staff didn't seem very professional. They were well meaning and friendly, but didn't seem trained on servicing a hotel. Small touches were missing, such as asking how a guest is doing, or providing information upon check-in.
We booked a room with one king and one wall queen. Aside from a fitted sheet, the flat sheets, pillows, and blankets for the wall queen were not provided. When we called to ask for them, we were given two twin fitted sheets, two extremely lumpy pillows, and one thick blood stained comforter with no duvet cover. It would have been better if they furnished a two-bed room with proper and enough linens and bedding before we arrived.
Breakfast seemed like it was stocked at 6am and was not refilled for the entire rest of the morning. By the time we got there, everything was finished. This happened both mornings we stayed. Most people left disappointed with a cup of coffee. Seems like they are either under-ordering breakfast or can't put in the energy to restock it periodically throughout the morning.

I booked a room thru Citi’s Credit Card portal. When I arrived they told me the hotel was overbooked and there were no rooms. Did not send any emails in advance and offered zero compensation. Staff was unhelpful. AVOID

Stayed here several times. Great hotel for the price, and if South SF is your main destination. Rooms have a full kitchen, appropriate for longer stays or if travelling with a family (as most brand name hotels in the bay no longer have refrigerators or microwaves). There's a Starbucks within moderate walking distance, as well as some casual-fast dining options. Fairly safe and quiet business neighborhood. Parking lot is open to the public, but well lit and maintained.

It’s alright. The rooms were really spacious and had lots of amenities, and free breakfast is nice. The rest of the hotel leaves a bit to be desired, doors are funky, one elevator was out of order (leaving only one), and despite there being free W/D 3 of them broke down during my stay leaving only one operational.
The staff also aren’t super attentive, as an example I asked if I could get fresh towels in my room (I had been there a week and definitely needed more), and kind of as expected I never got them. I ended up just grabbing them from the storage room because the lock on that door didn’t work either.

I would rate this hotel at 0.5. I came here for work and, unfortunately, I wasn't able to stay in my usual accommodations. The hotel would greatly benefit from renovations in several areas, including the living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, as the decor feels quite outdated. One last thing, for room service they only do light service, according to desk person. Which I never heard of!
Here are my specific concerns:
1. **Marked Stairwell Area** – I noticed a red marking on a stair railing that seems out of place and unprofessional. If this marking is intended to convey an important message, it would be helpful to provide an explanation for guests.
2. **Under-Sink Damage** – The cabinet under the sink has visible water damage and peeling, which suggests there may have been past or ongoing leaks. This raises concerns about cleanliness and potential mold, and addressing this issue could improve the overall guest experience.
3. **Gap Between Cabinets and Flooring** – There is a significant unfinished gap between the dishwasher and the adjacent cabinetry, exposing the flooring and underlying structures. This not only affects the aesthetics but could also lead to hygiene and pest control issues. Ensuring this area is properly finished would enhance both appearance and functionality.
Improving these aspects would greatly enhance the overall experience for guests. Thank you for considering this feedback!

This hotel sucks! My company booked me here and the location in Loomis is so much nicer than the one here in San Francisco. The employees here are slow and do not seem to want to help the guests in anyway. It seems it’s more of an inconvenience for them!!! Also the electrical outlet in the bathroom doesn’t work, cabinet doors won’t stay closed and the facility over all is just dirty. Breakfast is from 6-9 and when I went down at 7 the food was gone and it took 20 minutes for someone lazy ass person from the kitchen to finally come out and check on the food.
