I'd recommend One Hour Cleaners to anyone desperately looking to get their pants hemmed same day. I was heading out on a 10 day Alaskan cruise the very next day and needed my pants hemmed and steamed cleaned for the formal nights on the cruise. The owner really helped me out with getting this done and at a reasonable price too, $20 for everything and done in like 3 hours. She was already backed up with other orders but still squeezed me in. Thanks so much One Hour Cleaners!

I need to have 20 round tablecloths pressed to use at a friend's funeral reception after the services. The owner quoted me $25.00 apiece total cost $500.00. I guess I should not complain it was short notice 4 hours before the reception and this cleaner was the only one willing to take the task on. I bring the tablecloths to her and she looks at the size which where the standard size used on a round banquet 10 top table. She increases the price from $25.00 to $30.00 apiece. I voice my opposition she lowers the price to $28.00 apiece. I offer to pay her in cash if she honores her original quote and she agrees. I just felt like this business owner took advantage of the situation and I'm sure if I took the same size tablecloth to be dry cleaned it would not have been $25.00. I just needed them pressed. I did 4 of them myself on a standard ironibg board and it took my 25 minutes to do just one. A dry cleaner has larger equipment and I'm pretty sure it did not take but 5 minutes to press one. This is not a type of business owner that I want to spend my money at. Kick a person when they are down and take advantage of someone when they need your help!

A few days ago, I asked them to alter my newly purchased dress because it was too big. I was so pleased with the result that I couldn't resist writing a review. They did even better than I had hoped, and the dress fit me perfectly. Everyone complimented me on my dress, and I owe it all to you, Eunice. Thank you so much!"Services: Laundry wash & fold

Pretty fast and accurate alteration service! She knows exactly what the customer wants. The owner, She even tells me not to do it if she thinks I won't be satisfied with the result. If she just provided the service, she could make more money, but I appreciate her honesty.Service: Alterations

Don't come here, because you may "lose your shirt."This was the first time I used this dry cleaner. I brought 2 of my husband's dress shirts in for laundering along with my own blouse and a jacket. When a picked up and took the cleaned clothes home, I realized that one of my husband's dress shirts was missing and replaced it with someone else's shirt - it was larger in collar size and more of a work shirt (made of a polyester and cotton blend) rather than the missing dress shirt. Both of my husband's dress shirts were 100% cotton and the same size. The problem: The owner of this dry cleaners does not make a practice of tagging or otherwise identifying each of the items associated with a client's cleaning job. She basically ties the clothes together with a sleeve or trouser leg - a method that makes it easier to get the clothes from different orders mixed up once they unbound for washing. In a way, this lack of a system is understandable as this is a "mom-pop operation". What followed was not as easy to forgive. As soon as I got the clothes home and noticed the error, I went back to the shop to let them know that we had someone else's shirt in place of my husband's shirt. The shop owner initially proposed that I might have been mistaken, i.e., I didn't know my husband's shirt or his shirt size? She also didn't press for more details about the missing shirt, so I volunteered more information with a follow-up phone call, after having had a conversation with my husband. Then she suggested that I should wait for 2 months to see if someone brought the missing shirt back. She reasoned that "the missing shirt will be returned when the owner realized it was the wrong size." I did point out that the all-cotton dress shirt was a much nicer shirt than a work shirt with blended material, and if it hasn't been returned in a month, it's unlikely that it will be returned in two. She insisted.I gave her a total of 3 months before I approached her (she never did call or reach out to me about the missing shirt), and asked her to admit that the missing shirt was not coming back. She explained it's really hard to compensate because she was unfamiliar with the lost shirt and it was my words against hers in terms of what the shirt was worth: She complained that "You can say anything," and I have no way to confirm the cost. As a small shop, they have no compensation policy for missing items. Moreover, the owner's major concern was not about how to keep the business of a returning customer, but about having an upper hand in a negotiation process and not being taken advantage of, as in being "cheated by a customer." It was short-term thinking and it never occurred to her to give the customer the benefit of doubt. She started "the negotiation" with $10 as compensation for a 100% cotton dress shirt. I could tell that the exchange was going to go south after that. She stressed that the shirt was worn, hence it was been laundered, and offered $20? I said that was not close to the shirt's value or replacement costs, and generously offered to settle for $30 in form of future dry cleaning services. She said "no" straight away, but after some additional discussion I convinced her see that it was a good deal and to her benefit, because the actual cost to her of dry cleaning would be less than the $30 in services that I offered. She hesitated but accepted the offer. There were no apologies or even a "thank you" for making the mistake a non-cash event for her.On my next trip, I used up the $30 credit, and I won't be back. My husband did eventually find time to replace the missing shirt with a new one - the price range for shopping his replacement dress shirt (100% cotton similar to the one he lost) was between $75 and $125. My advice is to stay away from this place, or else you may literally "lose your shirt".

I'd love to give this review based on the way they cleaned my pants, but we didn't even get that far. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes while someone was pressing a coat, looked at me, and kept working on it. I get it. I would too, but he couldn't call any of the other two workers that saw me to come help me?

She just let me leave my clothes, for her to check if there is the same fabric. But she let me waited for 1week, just for ne to know she cannot alter my clothes. Before you let me leave the clothes to your store. You have to check if you have available fabric!!!

I WAS a customer for life. Now no more--unless you like rude service. This place has changed, ever since the elderly lady who used to run this place left. The current manager seems to be the daughter. This new "manager" is unfortunately LAZY and RUDE. A few months ago, I came with my daughter to have her prom gown altered. I suggested a few more alterations and this "new manager" couldn;t be more dismissive, not wanting to do a bit more pinning to make sure the gown fits better...even the seamstress who works for them seemed so embarrassed and helped us. I knew then that this new person is bad news. Today I came in, to give this place another shot, since I had been going here for a looong time. Same new person shows the same lazy attitude. I was asking to hem two pantsuits and she was refusing to pin the second one because "it look just the same one as the first one"..same dismissive lazy attitude the first time I encountered her. She wanted to charge $20 for hemming job--saying it is a "major alteration"? Man--bad service and deceptive representation of service? Forget this place... the original was good, now it's run by a lazy rude person. I miss the older lady who was kind to customers...I'm looking for a new spot.

They wanted to charge me 3x the amount they charge for Men, to launder and press my work button downs. Said the machine was too big, since I am small woman. Really? Her Husband is smaller than me!! What do you tell little Asian men? You charge them "womans price??"AVOID. SUPER RUDE.

This place does not offer 1 hr service like the name of the business. They really should change the name since this is pretty deceiving!!
