“I rarely leave reviews, but this experience deserved one.
I spent two days shopping multiple gold buyers across San Francisco and the East Bay before coming back to Bay Area Metals. Other locations gave me significantly lower offers, and some immediately assumed all my jewelry was lower purity without even taking the time to properly evaluate everything.
Even after gold prices had recently dropped, the gentleman here still honored the original offer he gave me two days prior out of professionalism and respect. That stood out to me.
I was offered $940 total for the pieces I decided to sell, and at no point did I feel pressured, rushed, or disrespected. The customer service was straightforward, transparent, and professional from beginning to end.
A lot of people only take time to leave reviews when they have a bad experience, but fair business and good customer service deserve recognition to. After personally researching offers throughout the Bay Area, I can honestly say Bay Area Metals gave me the best overall experience and the strongest offer.
