Their drivers/movers harassed me with Cat calling. and then told my husband, who was on crutches, that he almost beat up a women in a wheelchair the day prior. As my husband returned with our child, he told my husband AGAIN that he was serious about almost beating up a woman the day before... who was in a wheelchair. Psychopaths!

Horrible service and very rude! My storage was broken into. They did not care and said it was on me! I would never rent from them again!

This is the agent for Atlas Van Lines. DO NOT USE THEM! Rick Tobin, one of the estimators, is the most unprofessional, moronic and aggressive a** I have ever met! Other reviews below support my experience. I have dealt with large moving companies whenever I have relocated and never had an estimator conduct themselves like this j**** He showed up 10 minutes early and said he was only 3 minutes early....Bullshit! He parked in our shared driveway which is not permitted because he was so lazy not to take time to find street parking. He was aggressive, intrusive and had diarrhea of the mouth! We went back and forth about the delivery window amongst other things because he is incompetent and doesn't listen. I still have no quote from him which was shocking but doesn't matter because they will not get our business. He called me several times to talk about the quote prior to never sending it and tried squeezing us for more money by quoting high and then dropping the weight considerably lower than he quoted back and forth. The worst experience! I think corporate should know about this horrific and stressful experience.

Do not use these guys or Atlas Transportation (Peeters is an affiliate). Move from start to finish was fraught with problems. They "lost" a $7500 painting measuring 5 feet by 5 feet, as well as a child's toy. Despite pictures, receipts for the items and full coverage that was supposed to handle such losses, they denied the claim. Also lost a box of files, took twice as long to move the stuff and charged 30% more.

I gave this review one star but this mover deserves zero stars for quitting the move-in at our destination early and leaving my wife and me to finish re-assembling desks and tables and other items they decided to rip apart at our old home but were too tired or lazy to re-assemble at the new home. This move should get zero stars for leaving huge, heavy wardrobe boxes in the downstairs when the boxes were clearly marked MASTER BEDROOM for the upstairs. And many other boxes two floors away from where they were supposed to go and were clearly marked for. I have a 200 lb laser printer they put in the basement that is supposed to be in our upstairs office but ... hey those things are heavy! Bury it under some other boxes and maybe the customer won't figure it out and I can clock out early to go play 9 holes. But the cake - and I mean the most stressful part of this - goes to putting dozens of boxes that were sitting in our old garage and marked for our new garage into the inside of our new home and, from what we see, causing a whole new infestation of bugs in our brand new home. Congrats guys - you took epic screw ups to a new level. We picked this company because it represented Atlas and even though they charged more than the others, we were told it was worth paying for the extra reliability of Atlas. So we did. And we will be sure to tell others we are moving to stay away.Oh here's a photo of the Peloton bike they ruined by pulling out the handlebar valve stem (to make room for other moves in the van, you know) but were unable to re-assemble at the destination and ... well it may be a couple of months before we can get Peloton out here during COVID to fix this puppy so ... thanks for screwing this up like amateurs. If you are thinking of hiring a mover, remove this company from your list of possible options. You'll thank me for it.

Rick Tobin sent me a quote for my long distance move. I specifically said I wanted a comprehensive quote, door to door, specified insurance, and wanted no surprises regarding cost. He asked me invasive questions about what other companies quoted me at, and what their quotes included. I elected to not provide details and remained vague in my answers. Rick sent me a quote. He called me the next day to follow up. I pulled up the quote. As he reviewed with me he again asked what other companies were offering, said he can't lower it (I wasn't asking him to), and began to bad mouth other companies. He then said his quote is also missing 1-2 line items that will add another few hundred dollars. I reminded him that I wanted one comprehensive quote with zero surprises, and again asked him to send me a new quote with every line item included. He agreed. He then continued speaking, and unfortunately my phone died. I charged my phone, and before being able to call him back I received a nasty text message from him. Our last interaction is pictured here...

I used Peeters as they were an agent of Atlas, thinking that I would receive professional, transparent service. WRONG. Several men showed up not wearing masks during the pandemic and dragged dirt all over the carpet (they didn’t roll out carpet protectors until AFTER they had already dirtied my carpet). When it came time for paperwork, the guy in charge could not explain what any of the papers were for even though I was expected to sign all of it. What irked me the most about these guys however is that they found ways of tacking on additional hidden charges that they didn’t disclose initially (eg shuttling boxes into small truck then big truck under the claim that the big truck will not fit on street (it can- others do it) - they added this charge (~$500) for both pickup and destination locations. And they hold your belongings hostage until you pay up. Just do yourself a favor and find another company.

We used Peeters this past weekend to move from San Francisco to Pleasant Hill. Let me say if you could have planned out the most ideal move you wouldn't have done it as well as these guys. Quote was sent prior, one day before they called to confirm, drivers called 20 minutes before arriving and came an hour early which we appreciated. Two guys came and went none stop the entire time making efficient trips but also making sure everything was properly secured! When we arrived at our new place immediately got back to work, caring not only for our stuff but also putting down blankets on the floor to protect them. Before we knew it the entire job was done! Half way through the job the owner Rick called just to ensure everything was going smoothly. Truly one of the easiest and most professional moves we've ever had. Yes they have a six hour minimum and it could be slightly more then other but it is worth every penny if you want to make your move that much easier. Would recommend these guys to everyone and anyone!

Rick Tobin was the worst person I have ever worked with. He arrived late, didn't listen and made me feel extremely uncomfortable in my own home. Then he called me 8 times and left 5 voicemails (not normal for anyone to do) and when I finally talked to him the next day his bid was $2000 higher than other companies. However, he would not take no for an answer and said he can match the other companies prizes and he wants to know every detail about their bids. I ended up sending him a text an hour later thanking him for his time and telling we are going with another company, and he sent me an extremely aggressive message back. I am a mother of two little ones and it makes me upset that this guy now knows where I live.

This company is a nightmare. Peeters added an enormous extra fee for moving something they viewed upon estimating the job. The moving truck did not arrive at our destination on time. We were told by the local carrier that we were lied to by Peeters and there were several trucks available to bring our move to us by the date promised. We have been completely lied to and overcharged. Hopefully our belongings will arrived intact.
