Do not store your things here unless they are wrapped and secured. It smells like cat urine and cigarette smoke inside. Maybe the outside units are better. I'm giving it a three stars because it's in a good location and there's a lot of space.

Hasu is by far the best employee at this location. He is professional, polite, patient and helps his tenants, unlike many other rude employees I’ve dealt with at public storage. I highly recommend speaking with him if you need help with anything.

The inside and outside look like the building is old. The doors creak every time they open and close. Be careful when closing the door. In particular, it is dangerous for children to enter the second floor.

First off units smell like mold. Second, the young lady that works the closing shift is beyond rude, threatening customers to leave the property 10 min before closing time or will call the police on them. The intimidation was Totally unnecessary. A kind reminder is understandable but making people rush and having to speed in cars to get out or they'll be charged with trespassing is unacceptable. I've been there after closing, and you can exit the property gate with no issues through the app and remote access. This was case of an employee not wanting stay until the last customer left so basically bullied them to leave so she wouldn't have to stay.I will be taking my business elsewhere. Would not recommend service here.

I had a great experience renting a unit at PublicStorage @ 9 Meath Dr, South San Francisco. The storage was clean, and the staffer was very nice, professional and extremely helpful. Because of changes in my plans, I evacuated the unit only after two weeks and they provided me with full refund. I definitely recommend this storage!

Very good you got to book online and you could also cancel without a charge. The price was reasonable and the phone communication was excellent.

They will get you to move in with a reasonable rate. Quickly double your rent. Then when you move out you will have to quarantine your storage items due to the rodent infestation. Good luck with these clowns.

Yesterday, 9/3, my partner and I went into the office to inquire about the storage unit hours around Labor Day weekend and to check if payment for the unit was up to date. First of all, Jay did not put what he was doing, and wanted us to chat with him while going over his paycheck and papers saying that he was listening while reading. He seem to lack understanding how the payment system worked, and it took a few minutes for it to resolve that our payment was processing and would post later that day. It was important to my partner to have it all squared away as he's an out of towner. Jay seemed a little slow to absorb this fact despite my partner mentioning it a couple times in their conversation. At some point, Jay misunderstood "I've moved out of town." to be "I'm vacating my unit." I interjected and said, "No, he lives out of town." Jay responded to my interjection with, "Don't interrupt. Let him speak." There was a strong air of "Let the men speak." to the way he spoke. I immediately left the office to clear my head and opened the gate to head to my unit. After I left, my partner reported to me that Jay said to him, "That's why I don't have a woman in my life." The snap back was one thing. The comment about women makes him sexist, and clearly rude and misogynistic.My partner was upset by his reaction to me, and asked for a manager's number. Jay gave him the district manager's name and number on a card. My partner took the card and asked about one of the number that looks like it was 6, but because there was only 6 numbers in the phone number, it could be a 1 and a small zero. When ask, Jay said he forgot the last number and added the last digit. That seemed absolutely shady as he tried to make it difficult to reach his manager.I'm now uncomfortable about going into the office if Jay is running the facility.

Nightmare Rental. I paid $400 for a storage space that I never moved into. This property was taken over by a corporation, so buyer beware. When I showed up, there was no one there, the security code never worked to the front gate... I waited for someone to drive out to get onto the property. Security code to building did not work. I walked all around and found a door ajar. Then discovered a moldy building, a broken security door that never got fixed, and no security cameras along the back wall which has a shopping center and low fence. They refused me a refund. Went to other Public Storage they recommended, and it was flooded too. Go to Attic Storage instead and tell them Chris Falcon sent you. Local owned business, good prices, not corporate. Great guys over there. Thank you.

This place is super high in cost. Plus even if I move out on the 3rd let's say they still charge u for the entire month. Which isn't very helpful to those who can't afford it. They don't consider the fact that they can obviously rent the unit out to a new customer. They are all about them making every and amy penny they could scrape from anyone. They need to reevaluate their rules and try to consider the client that brings them business in the first place..
