On Friday, June 23rd, 2025, I had an unfortunate experience at the Shell gas station located at 140 Produce Avenue in South San Francisco. I went in to purchase three items; a 16.9 oz Crystal Geyser water, a beef stick, and a half-triangle turkey sandwich. To my surprise, the total came out to just under $30.
When I mentioned to the clerk that I hadn’t expected it to be that expensive, he replied, “You should have made up your mind before you came to the counter.” I calmly explained that none of the items were priced, so I had no way of knowing the cost until checkout; unless, of course, I shouted each item across the store as I picked it up. I then politely asked if he could return the items, but instead of assisting, he continued to belittle me for not “making up my mind.”

Their pump keeps running when there is no fuel going. Cashier refused to refund the payment. Will be reporting as fraud.

Was overcharged for fuel by $60USD!! He pretended to try help me as I was having issues at the pump, instead tipped himself $60!

You know what guys,If you're going to let your customers use the restroom, Don't rush them ! Whoever was after me who was waiting. Couldn't even wait for 5 minutes? I'm doing number two, I remember I told the owner I will buy something if you let me use the restroom, but if if you're going to rush me, Hell no I'm not buying anything from this establishment! After the customer lied to you saying that I left the bathroom messy. Those construction guys who are working there today that tall guy who was waiting for me at the bathroom looked at me as I finished & opened the door, he looked like he couldn't wait, come on construction guy grow up kid. Wait your turn & Also Don't lie to the owners, u said that I left a mess I know I left it smelling good with my spray and I always wipe the area after I leave. So whoever complained about me today, grow up kid! To the owners. I won't be coming back here ever , worst shell ever. Owner told me to not come back. I didn't even do anything wrong! Impatient construction workers here today. Stupidity and rude construction workers! Beware they look at you and laugh at you as you leave. Construction kids.

I pulled into this gas station to wait 15-20 mins for a friend to get off the airplane and the clerk came out to tell me I could not wait there no more then 5 minutes. There is a dozen plus spots with a sign posted 15 minutes. This is a inconvenience for those not around here and I live 6 minutes from this gas station by the airport. Do not give this shell station your business. Go to the other side of the freeway it's near fast food and Costco.

The pumps do not work well, the machine to put air into the tires does not have a caliper, I do not recommend this gas station
